- The caribbean island of Trinidad was once connect to mainland south america until sea levels rose at the end of the last ice age. This means that unique animals are found here and nowhere else in the Caribbean.

I've been lucky to have them pass through my yard on a bushy bank that bounds a mountain ..and they're just one if many different encounters , including monkeys snakes crabs tarantulas etc, you name it ..we're very lucky !
