As an Australian, I can confirm the neighbourhood kangaroo does send himself in your direction as soon as you step foot out your front door. Once when I was like 7, I was at the zoo with my family, and in most Australian zoos they have like an open field where the kangaroos live and you can feed them and stuff. I went to feed this Psycho kangaroo and bro came at me, scratched me on the face next to my eye and started squaring up. My dad then came over and pushed the kangaroo and grabbed me before reporting the incident to a zookeeper. Only in Australia.

British lager is absolutely atrocious and I as a beer lover will wholeheartedly agree that Staropramen, Pilsner Urquell and Budweiser Budvar are the nicest beers to ever exist. However, we make the best ale but everyone prefers lager specifically pilsner here. The main problem is high alcohol tax so everyone brews inferior versions of foreign beer, Stella being the main example. The Czech beer may be brewed differently but it is still the best we can get.

Just real quick on the AU parts-
The whole Aboriginal-British transition was more accurately an Australian-White transition. It wasn't a national thing- more a white supremacist thing.
The initial AU colonial government was corrupt as shit in NSW and probably more accurately a military dictatorship.
"First Australian" refers not to the colonists but to Aboriginals. The Colonists arrived on the "First Fleet". Not all of them were convicts- some of them were free settlers, and some colonies e.g. Adelaide/South Australia were Free States made up solely of free colonists who came from Britain and elsewhere, including Germany (primarily areas like Bavaria).
There was also a sizeable interesting chinese immigration wave of Chinese, korean and mongolian desecent people coming in. They couldn't get in on the regular ports, so in a quite ballsy move, they landed in this place called "Robe" in South Australia (the state, which was a free state) and they **WALKED** to the fucking gold fields.
We also never apologized or made up with the Aboriignals for all the shit we put them through until fucking 2008. The New Zealanders went ahead and integrated their First Peoples (Maoris) properly into their culture and overall did a better job than us at interation and acknowledging what they did.
