After reading the first chapter of the new Shadow manga and watching the two episodes of Sonic X Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings, the fight between Shadow and the Biolizard in this video feels different. Given the context that he has fought the Biolizard before, this is a rematch 50 years later. The biolizard was not like the other experimental animals; instead, this one was rampaging as it was posing as a threat to anyone trying to accomplish their hopes of bringing joy and peace to other people in Shadow's eyes. It is like it has been mechanically upgraded and back for revenge in a sense. I think Gerald might have found a way to subdue the prototype and get it under his control to do part of his plan during his time on Prison Island. Truly, Gerald drove mad after grieving the loss of his granddaughter. Anyways, the fight feels different because Shadow did not want to let the Biolizard ruin anyone's well-being, especially Maria's wish. To Shadow, he faced it before, so he will face it again.
I want an Infinite boss fight as much as the next guy, but don't count your chickens before they hatch. Remember, we all thought there were going to be Shadow & Chaos boss fights in Forces, surprise, there weren't. I'm just glad we got Mephiles, that would have been a major missed opportunity.
@anthonysteele6096 fair however there's been a boss linked to every game that the stage comes from Biolizard and the Ark Metal Overlord and Bullet Station Mephiles and Kingdom Valley It would only make sense to have Infinite with Sunset Heights
Fans like me will still be sad if Shadow is not additionally seen fighting Silver by running after him in a version of Sonic Generations, though he will also surf and fly. Likewise, Sonic and Shadow must use Super State against the Biolizard as the Finalhazard, Shadow will collect Energy Cores before using a similar attack to Chaos Spear to slow Sonic down for using a finishing move, and Sonic and Shadow will additionally use Super State against Metal Overlord.
As great of a villain Mephiles is, his boss fights in 06 are a bit underwhelming as you just build up chaos control then combo kick him to death in one round. Really hoping his new boss fight in Shadow Generations is a lot more better.
You could have just used footage of a black doom fight from youtube and give credit, or if it was the normal fight that's only like 15 minutes to finish a route he's on
Sonic is not a confirmed boss, all we saw was a trailer animation of the shadow fight in sonic generations, that doesn't mean anything, we have 0 idea if he will be a boss at all

Are you sure did Shadow will fight Nega-Mother Wisp? still anything like it about his Hell Reaper form? and Hell Pyrosis form against Nega-Mother Wisp?
Shadow is not going to have a sonic colors stage, there's 1 unrevealed stage and it's from shadow the hedgehog gamecube, likely black comet/final haunt

I find it hilarious that some of the people in the comments are asking for Black Doom when they never read the description. Anyways, with only 2 weeks left until the game comes out, my final prediction for bosses is that we will have an Infinite boss battle after completing Sunset Heights, and the battle takes place after Sonic gets defeated by Infinite and his Replicas. Can't see any boss fights from Chaos Island since the majority of them are sub-bosses, and it doesn't feel right having a sub-boss for a major boss fight. Edit: Episode Shadow in Forces originally had bosses planned and a longer campaign. So, having Infinite return as a boss could make up for this.

He'll probably be unable to be damaged unless you use Doom Powers or Chaos Control.
