    Crazy good content. I've heard about this concept before but you took it a step further by explaining HOW to make use of it.

    I watch a lot videos from (former) special forces dudes, they talk a lot about fundamentals.
    Basically saying "go back to your baseline and get your reps in".
    It made sense to me to focus on fundamentals, but now I understand how it also helps to improve things that are not part of the fundamentals, since you get more 'wiggle room' once your fundamentals are solid/more solid.
    I dont remember exactly where I found it, but this always helps me get in the right mindset to improve:
    At the highest level, your individual and team performance - your movements and actions - need to be polished, precise and specific. Your performance individually and as a team - needs to be repeatable, with the team’s performance at the forefront of your mind.
    When asking yourself if your performance is up the standard, can you perform in all conditions? If the answer is no, go back to baseline and get your reps in. Your ego isn’t in question, your ability to see your weakness is in question. The team deserves your best, work on the areas you need help with and don’t be afraid to slow down and ask for help. Be a pro, your team deserves it.

    Hey Styko love your content ♥
    You say to work on your weaknesses but recently I've been working on my weaknesses which I think is mostly I play too aggressively and with less utility than I should, however whenever I try to throw more utility it seems like I play worse than when I hold w and pop flash. It feels like I just get worse and worse, should I just give up on trying to throw full utility sets in pugs? I've also been practicing more than ever, playing every day since the CS2 announcement but my aim feels worse than ever. Is this just a slump while my body/brain tries to condense all this new information to the subconscious level or should I try a new aim routine or take a break?

    For some strange reason when I dont play on my account that has a bunch of high tier skins and instead opt in for my alt account with stock weapons I play alot better. Both accounts are very similar ranks

    If I want to improve should I be playing with a subconscious mind or a conscious mind were I'm actively thinking and asking myself questions before making decisions?

    • @STYKO
      @STYKO  ปีที่แล้ว

      You will never play your best game if you have to consciously think about what you have to do.
      But in CSGO its insanely hard to play that way because no round is the same. Best case scenario is that you feel in the zone and you make decisions based on intuition and that leaves your brain to focus on your aim and shooting.

    • @pvp4fun208
      @pvp4fun208 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@STYKO so you would recommend to think consciously about what to do before the round starts and then just play with my subconscious mind and learn from the mistakes I make?

    • @IKKAIWINS
      @IKKAIWINS ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pvp4fun208 Yeah, creating a plan beforehand will create a loose guideline to try and work towards during the round. It'll obv not work all the time but it helps in guiding your actions which often helps with the flow of the round from your perspective.
      Like early round CT aggression requires a little bit of a plan, during execution you don't wanna be thinking but just executing. As you progress from that aggression (alive ofcourse) you will have to naturally slot back into midround awareness - looking for the gaps that mightve been exposed in the meanwhile which will require a bit more of an active lookout. Doing everything based on intuition the entire time is very difficult unless you're at peak performance and even then. Think the above is an example of having a strong "B" game and something you will want to develop by understanding where you can put yourself during your rounds. DON'T autopilot, that isn't the same as intuitive play.

    Biggest doubt in the cs movement is when you do a rush and you have to stop the caracter ? who do you do?

    • @indigo5577
      @indigo5577 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you're rushing with just A and D you can counterstrafe
      but if you're holding W, like in a chokepoint like B apps Mirage or B banana on Inferno, you can crouch and instantly be accurate
      All of this is assuming you have a rifle since with an SMG, you're still fully accurate
