Spice of Love was another master piece. Daniel played a Hausa Muslim brilliant and persuasively. He was such a calm, collected, calculating villain but was ultimately outsmarted. One of his greatest qualities is his smile and he had a cross between a smirk and a smile. Daniel made me think Hassan really existed. Ekama and Mike amaze me at how in sync they are. They are so convincing at playing characters truly in love. Mike and Ekama ooze sensuality and are becoming the prototype for intimacy between couples. I enjoyed how much Aminah loved and connected with Imo over his amazing culinary skills. Imo made a handsome chef and I don’t blame Aminah bc Imo was an irresistible guy. I really liked Mina's friend. She was a cool, laid back, confidant we all can use. Spice of Love was like a game changer that women of certain cultures and from all walks of life shouldn't have to be diminished or reduced to a commodity and it’s always a pleasure to see a man take accountability for his actions without hesitation and with open arms. Daniel, Ekama, Mike and all supporting cast job well done. I recommend SOL. Watch it and you will agree. 5 St⭐r's ❤

Whoever the casting director for this movie is knows their onions. The cast came through as expected, everyone pulled their weight down to the minor characters.
I love how the plot was interwoven with culture as well as the potray of life as a modern day muslim woman. She wasn't going to allow herself marry to please her family and when it came to striking a good deal with Imoh's father, she put her sentiments aside and did what needed to be done. Now that's a boss babe.
1:51:18 the fact that Imoh stood up for Amina even though he was still mad at her ❤😊
Where do I start? It's the attention to details for me, from the Haussa's language with subtitles, to the costumes, the way he found out..., even the food in the kitchen (I was sick and tired to always see carrots, cabbage, eggs and rice/noodles) seeing boney fish and water leaves were out of the ordinary. Not to mention the suspense, til the last minute, I taught her handy man betrayed her... Can I talk about the chemistry? Gosh, it was good, great..
My only regret was the absence of the credentials at the end of the movies. I wanted to put names to the new faces, like the bestie, the mom, the dad, and even her assistant, and find out who was behind this incredible story.

I find myself commenting on every movie that Omini tv makes. Wow, there’s so much maturity breaking generational trauma and healing happening. i’ve watched it three times already. My favorite though is the difference is the opening and closing scene, same thing but there’s love joy and acceptance in the last one. Well done Ma waiting for the next one.

This is one of the best Nollywood Movies I have watched for 2024. Omoni well done. The casting was perfect and chemistry between Ekama Etim-Inyang and Michael Dappa is organically beautiful. Michael Dappa is fine, fine!

Interesting story line, good acting, beautiful cinematography, setting, fashion … it was good to watch 👍🏼. Ekama made a beautiful Northern woman and all the non-Northerner cast acting as Northerners were convincing. Daniel, as always, was a good ‘evil’ man! 😂 However, here’s some constructive feedback:
(1) A doctor doesn’t just casually tell their patient that poison was found in their system and walk off.
(2) A man doesn’t hear that news about his woman and unborn child, not ask any questions and then simply move on to the next chat topic with his woman.
(3) A poisoned pregnant woman doesn’t hear such news, show no shock and not question what poison and how it could have happened.
(4) All the wahala in this story can’t logically be resolved in the last 5 minutes of this movie. The storyline needed to show how Amina got to know of her father’s and the assistant’s involvement, her horror at it and in real life, she wouldn’t be all cosy with the two of them after such a discovery. If we were supposed to understand a time lapse between these events, this wasn’t well portrayed.
(5) Amina’s father’s character is unbelievable; how did he switch so quickly from championing Hassan and denouncing Amina and her baby, to that quick apology to Amina, dining with Imoh and making a mockery of Hassan? The switch wasn’t realistically portrayed.
The storyline needed to portray the problem resolution more realistically. I kept looking at the remaining time and thinking there must be a Part 2 to properly bring the story to a close. But to my surprise, it ended like a fairytale - the bad people got caught, the spell was broken and it all went happily ever after for the good people! I still hope there will be a Part 2 as, in spite of these plot holes, I enjoyed the movie. I however hope that for any sequel, the plot will be more realistic and believable. Overall, this was a good job! I would recommend the movie but with a heads up about the plot. 👍🏼✨💫

This is the first time I'll be commenting on a movie on TH-cam, but this I must say beats expectations on this channel, in that it's not the usual 'TH-cam movie'. The cast, plot twist, costume and everything was perfect. Thanks for giving us a good watch.
