    I use these without external EQ and they sound GREAT. My brain simply adjusts to this signature and I am unbothered that it doesn’t sound like my Elex or HD 600 or HD 650. It has its own signature, which is totally and tonally pleasing.

      Exactly. Your brain does adjust. I think people are obsessed with mucking around with things. I’m a simple man. Plug the damn things in and listen.

    Very detailed review with a clean minimalist visual style. I liked it a lot! Only suggestion is to lower the background music to a level where it doesn't distract from your voice. I'll be looking for your next video :)

    Finally somebody that shares the eq programs for all these headphones they say needs eqing. A future General eq set up and install video with apo and peace would be appreciated. Thank you for the review. You have great content and very professional reviews. Look forward to seeing this channel grow.

    Makes me really interested in listen to them with EQ, as I know them just without, from the past.
    Always nice to look at them in detail. Especially the wood makes these so stylish over the all black "classic" version :)

    In many reviews of Audeze headphones I've read that EQ is a must. But how to perform it if I am not going to connect the headphones to PC or any smart device? In my setup the phones would be plugged into the amplifier that only has some filters and no manual EQ.

    I just picked up an lcd-2 headset, brand new, price 1200eu... In the authenticity card I found inside it said they were manufactured in 2016. But the ones you show here are different. Are these (you are showing) the latest version? And, how many models (of lcd-2) since 2016. It's interesting here in Spain hifi stores are still selling the 2016 model. Hmmmm.... I believe mine are fazer. Is the 2020 model fazer too? Do you think there are major differences between the ones I bought (2016) and this later model you showcase here? Thanks a lot and sorry for the question bombardment.

      MR FUTURE TECHNOLOGY GAMING INFINITE RESOLUTION it won’t, that only used to be a problem with the original LCD-2s that had the headphone jack built into the wooden rings. The wood itself seems pretty good to me as well, very high quality lacquer on it.

      Wet Noodle thank you, glad you enjoyed the review. I really hope I’ll be able to review the Ananda, as it’s got me pretty interested. Of course, if I ever get to try them, I’ll compare them to the LCD-2

      @@chrono-headphonereviews242 is it right the total harmonic distortion of the lcd2 is lower than the ananda?

    • @chrono-headphonereviews242
      @chrono-headphonereviews242  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      David Mason THD is not something you will ever have to worry about with these unless you’re doing something really crazy with them hahaha, so you don’t have to worry about anything or look too deeply into it in that regard. As far as separation goes, they’re both fantastic, but the Ananda does have a slight edge in separation, and noticeable one in soundstage width

    The only difference between these and the 2C's in sound should come from the fazors, those things are simple AF and yet nobody seems to have tried to mod them into the 2c

    • @Daishi0861
      @Daishi0861 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty much all of the headphones at that price range are "boutique" headphones that have a specific flavor of sound that their designers are known for, with varying levels of trim for resolution and build. You kinda shop around until you find the type you like, because while some people don't like the stock tuning of these, other people do. Hence the issue of audio subjectivity.

    You should make the equalizer apo, and reveal + part of the video a seperate video. Probably good for SEO, as many people may be looking for how to setup equalizer apo, and wont know to watch this LCD2 review to find it. Just a suggestion

      Arcanum Luminarium I agree. In retrospect I wish I had made a separate video dedicated to that. In the very near future I’ll be making a separate video tutorial for equalizer APO, Peace, and reveal +.

    Too bad for such a great looking headphone to suck this much. Unfortunately Audeze can't make a decent headphone to save their life. I mean they even have the balls to give us the EQ profile to fix their shit. "Here this is how we should have make them, no f off and fix them". So what am I supose to do? let's see what are we looking at here... LP are out, hi-fi listening session are out, Hi end portable like WA 8, Wa 11 out... Am I supose to run an ADI-2 dac on everything? get an EQ board? Who at Audeze thinks this is even remotely acceptable.
