I was saddened to hear of J.D.'s passing recently. He had great talent and I loved his music and that of his associates, the Eagles, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor. I sometime sing "You're Only Lonely" myself, but I struggle to reach those high notes! Your renditions of these two songs are a fine tribute to J.D. and his music, James! Bravo! I now need to dig out my "Bordertown - The Very Best of J.D.Souther" CD and give it a spin!
