This is what i enjoy about P&D. Questions and answers on a sensible level. I have been in building for over 40yrs, have used loads of your techniques, which always work, as long as you put in the prep work, to accomplish the final result.
I have been enjoying your videos! You're so careful and thorough, and there's so much useful information. I wish I could hear your voice louder and everything else quieter. I can barely hear you with my volume all the way up, but then I'm blasted with the loud noises of your sandpaper or your screwdriver scraping something. Maybe there's something I can do on my end with audio settings...I'm going to work on that. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I would have filled it with frame sealant.,but it wouldn't have looked anything like the finish you got. Could you explain to a novice why you paint diluted pva on before the foam. What would have happened if you had just put foam in by itself? Cheers, great job. Graeme
PVA helps reduce the suction of moisture from your paint or paste. Also helps in adhesion as it's a glue and is a reversible material. When it gets wet it softens and then dries with the paint holding it in the substrate. Thanks
Looks a tidy job Have you thought of using sbr instead of pva. It is waterproof and dries quicker than pva. Also Ct1 is paintable waterproof and does not shrink or crack. Just a suggestion

@@jraehut thank you sorry for the sound .
Loads of videos and we do go over things twice or more in other videos.
Thanks for watching and subscribing.
Great job as always. I would have chosen CT1 to seal the window, bomb proof and easy to clean with hand wipes.
Thanks, yes good stuff that CT1.
UV destroys Ct1
👍👍👍. Thank you
Thanks 👍
Have you tried the CT 1 sealant, great for jobs loke this. Can be over painted unlike traditional silicon sealants.
Yes I have used it before good stuff if used correctly. Thanks
Nice job mate 👍

It's not a good idea using waterproof solutions. The paint is waterproof and needs to soak in to key. Thanks
@@PaintingandDecorating that's why a bit of knowledge is dangerous and every day is a learning day. Thanks👍
