1948 Millers Falls Hand Drill Restoration

We restored this hand drill, which was inherited from the children of a former jeweler. It was the project that we really enjoyed dealing with. I hope you enjoy watching it.

Many great tips here for how NOT to restore this drill. Painted chuck? Painted crank bar? Sandblasted pinion shaft and gears for no reason? Hammering on the handle with the drill on the table instead of in the air? Yikes!
