Indian Air Force stuns Mumbaikars with gallantry aerial display at Marine Drive

Indian Air Force on January 13, stunned Mumbaikars with its gallantry aerial display at Marine Drive. The chivalry aerobatic displays by SKAT and the ‘Sarang’ Helicopter were witnessed by a large number of people at the promenade. The event was part of the IAF outreach programme in coordination with Govt of Maharashtra. The programme is primarily aimed at creating awareness and fostering a deeper connection between IAF and the local community. One of the locals who attended the event demanded more such events to be organised in future. The event would also feature a diverse range of aerial activities, including a flypast and low-level aerobatic display by Su-30 MKI, freefall and parachute displays by the ‘Akashganga’ team and C-130 aircraft. Notably, the event started on January 12 and will culminate on January 14.

The guy in black t shirt is wrong. It is NOT the first time the IAF air show has been done. I have seen a bigger Air show around 2005 where Dhruv, Jaguar sepcats,Sukhoi mk30i acrobatics & HALO jumps from helicopters wre performed wonderfully.

IAF is good for show like this but not so good in the combats. It failed in the Balakot strike and during the 65 war where it loss many aircrafts than the eneny. It is unfortunate that people and media are boasting too much on India's military capabilities which can be disastrous especially in a war with mighty China.
