I have consistent sales, but I follow your lead and will sell just about anything that makes sense to sell. I, too, love things from the 1960s through the 1990s. Hard to believe they are vintage 😢 I am getting old. 😂
SAme here. I just got my daughter reselling and have been texting her BOLOs from a BOLO book I have. She commented on the value of the "really old stuff" which were things from my youth! I guess I am "older than dirt" as one of my kids said!
We always watch METV, The Waltons, Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Happy Days, The shows were so much better then. Even if its on in the background, its peaceful. We're hanging steady in sales. We wish it was more for the 4th quarter, but we are grateful for what we have. Thank you for another great show.
I have 600+ listings and I’m still selling pretty consistently. I’m just part time and I have been selling for just one year. I’m very thankful for each & every sale. I have learned a lot from your channel. Keep up the good work!🙂
Definitely no whining here about sales. Though to tell the truth, I don't whine even when sales screech to a halt. As we used to say all the time in retail when having a slow week: "Christmas Always Comes." Meanwhile I put out a new product category test in the eBay store about a month back and zowie!! I'm spending so much time packing multiple-item orders that I barely have time to do listing. (I'm a 1 man and 2 dogs operation. The dogs don't like to list.) Never get stuck in a rut, and never be so greedy with the status-quo that you give up testing.
If it's sunny but cold, my friends and family will golf and we live in midwest Ohio...even on Christmas! Thank you for your channel and I've learned so many things.
I started selling on E-Bay with plush. as long as I can get it for less than a dollar and sell it for ten dollars or more I'm going to sell it. My son bought me a rollo printer for Christmas and it was the best thing ever for my E-Bay business. I even print my Thank You stickers with it!! Thanks Kevin!! . P.S. BRM would make a cute Christmas ornament!
I have been following you, and your crew for about 1.5 years and I have to say that your TH-cam videos really support your stores. I have been experiencing dismal sales since beginning October and have been following your lead in pulling items, reviewing them then re-listing. Time consuming and I hope that it turns things around for my store.
I do suround myself with things from the past. Everything was made better and it does remind me of a better time. Thank you for yoyr videos. I have been selling on ebay since 2000. 😊
Great vid Kevin and family (and critters)! I have a laser printer I've been using and it ran out of colored ink a while ago, using black only. As soon as is runs out I'm buying a Rollo thermo printer because I'm not paying $75 for another toner cartridge. Love your vids. 😸
I am a plush seller and my plush sales have dropped drastically. Actually my overall sales have dropped. I have 8500 items and Saturday I had two sales. But, plush was my #1 category for years and now I go days without selling any.
We have over 1,500 items and we sell a lot of plush and usually the items we think nobody wants are usually the items that sell fast. We are selling about 10 items a day. If we post 50 items daily we will typically sell 20 items daily. We never decline offers and we always counteroffer and we buy on eBay as well. We also sell on Posh-mark as well and do daily shows. We probably put in over 40 hours a week on our stores. It is so much fun. If you have any questions please let me know.
I just wanted to pop in and say I LOVE My Go 2 Tape! It's thick and sticks very well. I know someone mentioned a "chemical smell," and there is a tiny one. But it's not obnoxious and doesn't bother me. It is WAY better than the tape I purchased from another company, and I will definitely make it my standard from now on. Thanks for the chance to try it!
I have a whole lot of plush that hasn’t moved in years, and suddenly two little ones sold in the past week. I’m not sourcing plush anymore until I can reduce this stock.
I do the same for odd size or item specific boxes. Just sold a set of bike wheels, went to out bike shop and they gave a a shipping box their wheels come in for free. Did the same when I needed to ship a bicycle.
Thanks for the product suggestion, I have been doing this part-time starting in August and my regular printer died before I started so I have been writing labels by hand. I have been thinking about getting a printer and was looking at those office quality printers with the big $150 dollar ink cells. You have changed my mind and I am going to go Rollo now. Great Video's!
I have really enjoyed watching some of your videos you are so in love with love are you let people hurt your feelings too easily but you say what you want to say and how you feel and I really enjoy that I haven't subscribed yet but I I will the way I found out about you was through the bearded thrift machine because he always talks about parted out partedoubt so I enjoyed it God bless you and your beautiful family
I cling to nostalgia like a life saver to stay afloat in this instant news world we live in. Maybe why I changed my channel name (again) to esmelovesvintage 😊 so guess what took only a day to sell in my store? Razor cartridges (I found in the neighborhood trash but unused) and my home decor stuff sits and waits 😅
Per your DVD sale I love media selling! October I netted $140 from $5.25 cost in CDs and this month $80 net from $3.75 cost in CDs. Note those are 2 to 3 day open for sales months. They generally are not quick sale items though (might be if I could be open for business longer each month LOL). What I especially like is one net $10 CD sale pays for 40 CDs in inventory. Glad your sales are great and thanks ro the always excellent content. All the best...
I sold for years without a thermal printer. I was already running a dual printer setup and couldn't easily add a third so... oh well. That said, they make sense if you're moving any volume.
I have a Sing-A-Ma-Jig here. Used to be my son's. Loved it when he was little but now he thinks it's kinda creepy. I was going to list it but it got buried in one of my piles. Ugh. I'll find it again someday.
I have an original wired Rollo printer and I love it…but I’d sure love a wireless one way more so I wouldn’t have to have it tethered to my laptop and could print from my iPad too.
Would love Rolo printer but can't afford and family isn't supportive so they would never by one for Christmas present or birthday. But hopefully 1 year I'll get there where I can afford one
I know you're a history guy, one thing I've noticed recently, while I picked up a very random hobby of watching old 70s/80s news-casts on youtube - is it doesn't matter the year or channel or month of broadcast, almost every single newscast I watch talks of SOME war/conflict in the same places in the Middle East as today's stories.... and even the Eastern European states too... All of these people keep saying it's ww3, but, it's been going on forever.. is it really any different or worse now? Also, watching these old newscasts, you realize there's always been the same depravity and crime that we see today... my theory is back then in the 80s you had to make a more conscious choice to subject yourselves to the 'bad news' of the world.. NOW we have 24-7 news channels, we have social media, everything else just blasting us with the 'bad news' all day everyday, you can't scroll through your feed looking for sports scores without a million images of bad news.
Aloha Kevin- I’m just a part time reseller in Hawai’i. Like you I’m a former teacher. I have learned so much from your videos -awesome. I just love picking, but with the cost of living here, it’s getting harder and harder to find cheap items to flip. The other problem here is the cost of shipping. At most garage sales, I see people pricing things close to eBay prices, so not enough meat on the bone to flip. Just recently, I’ve begun going to the goodwill outlet. Although I’ve found some good items, even our bins are not priced by the pound. Each category is just priced separately. Anyway- any advice reselling from Hawai’i? Have you ever picked here? I appreciate everything you taught me. Mahalo, Leslie
Yes sales are slow , havnt been listing consistently might have something to do with it ! Yes people still buying the economy down and I think Amazon have a lot do do with down trend gen z ect buying instantly on Amazon many new items not on eBay ! Ebay need to market too young people trends changing times not just car parts focus ! Thanks for your videos
Living in the UK I’ve followed your operation/business for some time now kevin and I have to say I love the sleek operation you and your family have there and truly appreciate the hard work you guys have clearly ploughed into the business!!! Keep all the videos coming guys they’re great and I’m seriously creating a similar operation here in the UK?
I used to have a wired rollo printer but when wireless came out I wanted one till I had seen the price. I looked around on Amazon and found a nice Bluetooth printer just like a rollo called Jadens. I have used it for about a year now and have never had any issues. It’s $90 and does the same thing as the $280 rollo printer. I just wanted to let others know there is cheaper options out there that work the same.
Thanks for that! I've thought about getting a Jadens bluetooth printer pretty often but I hadn't seen any truly reliable reviews on Amazon.. except from very recent purchasers. I was worried it wouldn't last. I'm so happy to hear from a reseller who uses a Jadens printer often and it still works great a year later. I've noticed Jadens often participates in Amazon Prime Days which would make it even cheaper, hopefully, so I might have to finally give Jadens a go. I could really use a wireless option that won't break the bank and that won't need to be replaced in 6 months. Appreciate your info, truly.
@@y2ksurvivor you won’t regret it. I to was worried it was going to be cheap but when I got it I realized its designed just like the rollo plus I think it comes with a label holder.
Good to know, thanks. I am thinking of picking up another label for a second location where it would be convenient to print labels from. I currently have a FreeX having had zero problems in two years and was $95 when I got it but I believe the price has risen.
So many resellers started during the pandemic. That was a reseller boom. More people selling, more people buying. Now that things have relaxed, sellers are seeing the reality. Hopefully this, (plus the $600+ tax) will thin the herd and trim the fat, and leave only us serious folks
#MyGo2Tape Another great video - I use a laser printer for my labels, don't sell very much right now. However, if I can get my deathpile listed and my sales warrant it, I will take your advice and switch to a thermal printer.
Let’s see, that rollo printer has 650,000 printer life, considering I had 1 sale for $6 yesterday, that printer will out last my LIFE, my children’s and grandchildren’s!!!!
Why don't I see all of your items when I look on your ebay site? I looked for that ET last week and didn't see it there. I just looked for that Pyrex and don't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?
It may not be listed yet, or it may have sold. Edit I just searched the store and I couldn't find it either. Not listed or sold. That's probably why it's not selling.
I LOVE all the old shows, you're right, they give us a break mentally from all the world's worries...😊
I have consistent sales, but I follow your lead and will sell just about anything that makes sense to sell. I, too, love things from the 1960s through the 1990s. Hard to believe they are vintage 😢 I am getting old. 😂
I'm right there with you on the selling 'old' stuff!
I am with you too. If I remember it from my teens, it is vintage :)
SAme here. I just got my daughter reselling and have been texting her BOLOs from a BOLO book I have. She commented on the value of the "really old stuff" which were things from my youth! I guess I am "older than dirt" as one of my kids said!
The reason intelligent people prefer vintage is because they don't like a bunch of crap made in China.
Thanks for acknowledging veterans. Please include women who served. We signed the same contract as the men.
“True love is slow to anger….maybe not.” I literally guffawed out loud for quite a while! Commiserating.
I have 600+ listings and I’m still selling pretty consistently. I’m just part time and I have been selling for just one year. I’m very thankful for each & every sale. I have learned a lot from your channel. Keep up the good work!🙂
I love sourcing a wide variety of items - you just never know what someone might feel nostalgic about!
Definitely no whining here about sales. Though to tell the truth, I don't whine even when sales screech to a halt. Can U explain to us newbies what a "category test is?" Thanks!
If it's sunny but cold, my friends and family will golf and we live in midwest Ohio...even on Christmas! Thank you for your channel and I've learned so many things.
I like watching your video’s, I watch everyone you make. I’d watch them even if they were an hour long. Keep up the good work.
Thank you
Got a Rollo (wired) with the scale over a year ago. What a great game changer. Makes my life much more easier as a reseller!
I buy, sell and trade, but I also collect lots of stuff that reminds me of my childhood. VHS movies, toys, sportscards, kitchenware ect
I still have my encyclopedias and my kids like to tell their kids, I used to use those before internet 😊😊
I started selling on E-Bay with plush. as long as I can get it for less than a dollar and sell it for ten dollars or more I'm going to sell it. Had a ruff childhood but I had alot of family sitcoms I love to watch. I'd always wish a had that family
I remember those Bible Story Books fondly. Love your videos! #MyGo2Tape
I truly appreciate your compassion and attention you give to your viewers and buyers.
Our sales seem really slow but beating last year so I'm happy!
2-3 sales a day. Has slowed down for me. Gearing up for the holidays. Love your channel and content

Sales the last week have been pretty good. Gearing up for the holidays.
I was about to give up , but found an Tar Heels cap that sells for around $125…. 11:39 wish I could send a pic!

I love my Rollo printer, the best thing I ever bought.... now it's time to get a wireless one
I'm catching up on the podcast. I binge watch/listen while I'm working on reselling. It helps me get through the repetition of reselling.
Hope Stitch went to good home 💙 lovely to see your family. ❤

I like it
Love VCU Turners costume!!!
i agree that you have to price competitively these days. I also agree about the Rollo. Not one problem in the years I've owned it.
Nice sales! Big hug to BRM! 🐿️💖
I remember those bible books in the doctors office.

Omg. I was on my way to watch Perry Mason, and I thought I would check TH-cam and see if anybody’s released any new videos.
lol
Sales super slow but I still watch content cause it is always Interesting.
I have a Sing-A-Ma-Jig here. Used to be my son's. Loved it when he was little but now he thinks it's kinda creepy. I was going to list it but it got buried in one of my piles. Ugh. I'll find it again someday.
Love your costume Turner! And your joke!!
Had best month of the year in November
My son wore that same costume as Turner a couple years ago 😊
I have an original wired Rollo printer and I love it…but I’d sure love a wireless one way more so I wouldn’t have to have it tethered to my laptop and could print from my iPad too.

Sales have been rough and very few this week for me
BTW I have that tupperware holder hanging up on the wall in my kitchen 🤣
I'm still selling plush when I find good ones they still seem to sell quick.
My go 2 tape!

I have not sold plush yet! My sakes are okay...a bit of a rollercoaster.
My go 2 tape! Thanks for the video Kevin!
Things are slow on ebay and swap meet, people have less money when demos are in control but most people don't care oh well
My sales are good but should be great with the amount of hustle I've been doing. I'll take it.

My Go 2 Tape . I try not to collect. I see too many cool things when thrifting.
My kids know about old shows music, and history
Love my Rollo!

MY GO 2 TAPE!
Can you please advise on the cost per label using the rollo thermal printer. Many thanks
The actual label? They are super cheap. Like a penny
I am going to look into the scale! My rollo is 5 years going strong.
My sales slowed until I started listing and they took off this weekend. ❤
I need to turn my shed into one like yours. How did you do it? Did you insulate and put up dry wall?
I ❤ our Rollo wireless printer. It is amazing! Great business investment.
Christmas is coming, I usually start in September and October 😊
Good morning all!😊
Love my Rollo.
Re: Rollo Printer, where do you get a receipt from? When you use a printer, it prints the receipt on half of the paper. Love your video.
you can print it on another sheet but I never do. It is all stored and all you need is the tracking number and that can be found easily.
#MyGo2Tape Another great video - I use a laser printer for my labels, don't sell very much right now. However, if I can get my deathpile listed and my sales warrant it, I will take your advice and switch to a thermal printer.

Very little sales here!😢

MY GO 2 TAPE
B KIND 2 ALL!
My Go 2 Tape. Thank you
Our plush sales are down. eBay is also down. Mercari is down.
How do you ship baseball caps and small plushes? Do you use a box or just stuff it in a padded envelope?
Plush in a bags. Hats in a box
Good morning 😊😊
I still use the label sheets with a regular printer… 😔
I'm really sad you missed the opportunity to put the Maryland hat on Stitch 😅
Does the printer come with everything you need or do you have to buy everything else separately?
I’ll watch your videos no matter how long they are.
Thank you
My Go 2 Tape
At times the customer demands fast ship, but some of us have other jobs
Two more years for costumes? Ha, my 25 year old still dresses up
Lol
Don't tell Dave about the plush. Dude goes out sourcing $15 plush instead of listing the $100 items rotting away in his shipping container.
😂
That save the goon docks shirt? Info please
Goonies
My sales are slow.
I love Jocelyn ❤😊😊
Why don't I see all of your items when I look on your ebay site? I looked for that ET last week and didn't see it there. I just looked for that Pyrex and don't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?
It may not be listed yet, or it may have sold.
Edit
I just searched the store and I couldn't find it either. Not listed or sold. That's probably why it's not selling.
ET sold very quickly
Mine is going well 🤞🏻
I couldn't find the pyrex refrigerator dishes, did you sell them?
Maybe that’s why they haven’t sold. Lol
@@commonwealthflipper 😅🤣😂
