- We were on vacation this week, so in lieu of a regular Sunday Hymn session, here’s a short hymn medley of three favorites- “I’m in the Glory-Land Way,” “What a Day That Will Be,” and “Because He Lives.” Be sure to check out my website for lots of sheet music for pianists and my web courses that will teach you how to play hymns with a full and energetic sound! 🎹 www.natalieraynesmusic.com
To God be the glory!
Beautiful. Thank you.
I grew up in a Southern Baptist Church in the fifties and this was the music we had in that church it brings tears to my eyes to hear this again I wish the progressive churches of today would play this music and go back to praising the Lord the way we did before she is very talented
"Progressive" is a misnomer.
That's what GOD'S blessings can look like...
Oh my! Listening to the smooth transitions reminds me of my mother who had Alzheimer’s but after being a church pianist for over 50 years could sit at the family piano in the middle of the night and gloriously play a concert with snippets of Amazing Grace, How Great Thou Art, What a Day That Will Be... mixed with Oh Danny Boy and other childhood favorites. She passed away over 20 years ago and those are the memories I cherish the most because it was through her love of music that she was able to convey that she wasn’t completely lost.
Such memories are priceless. Only you know the true value of such treasures 🙏❤
Precious Memories 💖
I love this story! Music is absolutely amazing.

QUE LINDO IIIII 😃😃😃😂
Such an amazingly, beautiful blessing your music is! Being disabled, I cannot get to church, and your clearly God-given talent sure makes me feel that I am back at church again after 20 years. I could (and have) listen for hours! God bless you, and your precious husband. These beautiful old Hymns are so sorely needed in these days of uncertainty, though we are certain that our God is in control.
My mom would've loved to listen to this music! And right now my heart is breaking cause I miss her so much. She died from Ovarian Cancer Feb 1, 2017. She is resting now and waiting for Jesus to call her home on that glorious day coming soon, when He's coming to take us home, and yes WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE.
Two short weeks before she died, she gathered her strength, and we recorded that song together as a family to be played at her "celebration of life", what a blessing to have one last recording of us singing together as a family ❤️
Oh Jesus come quickly, we're tired of this old sinful world, we're looking forward to that great reunion day.
1Thess. 4:13-18
Amen Sharivara! Dad and I sung together from when i was age 12 until my age of 68, and his age of 86. Last November, 2023, i held his hand while his spirit left his body and entered Heaven. He was 87. I look forward to seeing him again one day. Mom is so lost without him. They were inseperable. You pray for us and I'll pray for you. ❤
Oh how I remember these songs from when I was 50 years younger and going to church on Sunday night and everyone who played and musical instrument would show up. We would praise God for hours and that still wasn't enough time. Oh how I miss these old times. Church just isn't the same. God bring back the times when you were all and all to us.
I REALLY miss this style of gospel! Thank you!
Love gospel music.. Beautiful playing
"This child can face uncertain days... Because He Lives" Thank you, Lord.
You are so talented!!! I hope that everyone watching, may find love peace and joy in Jesus!
What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see!
What a blessing it is to hear and see such beautiful rendition of those old songs, God bless you.

How sweet to know that Jesus lives today. Thank you Natalie.
This lady has a fantastic talent! She does this without music, which isn't easy to begin with; then she makes it look so easy!
For real she made me think I could be able to do it just watching her press the pedals on thenpiano
Sweet ❤️ it.
Just made me think Because He Lives we can all do what we do and you have such a lovely gift. We'll done it takes dedication hard work and a love of God to shine as you do for his Glory
Amen ❤️🙌🙏
Oh how I would love to play like that. Ever since I was a wee little girl I have loved the piano and wanted to take lessons. I am to old now so I listen to others play hymns and it makes my heart glad.
WOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!! This is what Heaven is going to sound like!!!!! Praise God!! What A DAY! What A Glorious Day that Will Be!! Hallelujah!!
That did this old Pentecostal granny good, darlin! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOR JESUS. GLORY HALLELUJAH! MAY REVIVAL, TRUE REVIVAL BREAK OUT IN THE USA, NOW IN JESUS NAME!!
Beautiful just beautiful. Two of my favorite songs. I will watch over again. Thank you and God bless you.
Thank you and God Bless for being a part of my devotional this morning in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I've been playing the piano for over 23 years. I wish I could play like that, but I'm glad for what God's given me. God is good 👍.
I woke up early this morning andjust started listening to you playing Natalie. Do you realise how much you bless us with all your inspirational piano playing. Bye jove, you really do awaken the HOLY SPIRIT to minister to us
Thanks sitting in hospital room with covid thanks for great playing
Indeed, because HE lives we CAN face tomorrow!
Oh glory hallelujah. Thank you JESUS
Wonderful thankyou
Amen!
Absolutely beautiful and very uplifting in a world of turmoil.
I 100 percent agree
She is a pro!!! Excellent! Glory to God!
Natalie, you do such a marvelous job. I just happened to come across this while looking for the "old time" hymns on piano and I'll have to say, I enjoyed every second. I can tell that it comes from the heart because you put yourself into every note. I grew up listening to these old hymns but now our church is small and we don't have anyone who can play piano, so keep using that talent for the LORD, it is sorely needed in this world. (Numb. 6:24-26) The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
What a beautiful gift you have been given to share! I am near 70 years old and lots of people were able to play like this when I was a small child, but hearing this today is very, very rare. You play with such feeling and from the heart, which is how it should be. Thank you for sharing your marvelous talent; a true gift from God.
As a musician who has an ear for melodic chord structures , I have to say that this is truly excellent. She plays the melody to perfection .
Glorify god.
With beautifl music
@@lauriehartsog7803 Great using your talent in praising GOD
Normally I would have passed over your video but something made me stop and look. What a blessing I received looking at your video. I play piano but would love to be able to play like you. And the songs you chose was so touching to me. I am a new subscriber of yours. Bless you!
Well... if you had to... I'm glad you did 😅🤣😂
I love music and worked many years to play piano, keyboard and Auto Harp. But having inner ear problems since birth I have a terrible ear but I still play and sing to glorify God even if it only blesses me
Natalie, you tickle those ivories like I go around my house with a feather duster. What a God given talent. I love your style and your hymn choices. Keep on playing I am sure you are blessing alot of people. God bless you.
including me!
Lovely what a blessing.
God bless you sister Natalie
And the ebonies!
My grandma used to sit down at the piano or organ and play hymn after hymn, her eyes were failing her then, but she knew them by heart. She lived to 102, had 14 children and was only 5’1” and never weighed more than 125 pounds. She and grandpa put on old fashioned tent revivals every summer in my younger years. They gave much of the money to build a Nazarene Church in their town.
Beautiful. Thank you for bringing glory to God through your playing.
That was lovely, Natalie. Being raised catholic, these songs were verboten by the nuns when I was a boy. My family attended a Methodist(?) funeral and "What a Day That Will Be" stuck in my head. I must have been singing it under my breath when sister heard it and apparently I made all the Saints in heaven cry. My folks had me out of catholic school the next week.
Beautiful music n gorgeous piano playing.I could listen to you playing all day long.
I am a born again Christian n I look for the Lord to come back any day.
I love the old hymns.Theres nothing better than them.
God Bless you .You have a God given wonderful talent.
Keep playing for the Lord.
Love you.
Natalie, these old songs are priceless, and you play them so beautifully. Keep them alive by keeping on playing them forever. It's sad to say, but most teenagers today do not know these songs & never ever sing them, so it is vitally important that you keep them alive. God has blessed you with this precious gift, so keep using it for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Whoever disliked this doesn't know what good music is.
Those old fashioned Gospel piano messages! They never get old, never go away. "Heaven and earth shall pass away but my Word shall not pass away." Matthew 24:35
Once again you’ve cracked open an old sad heart and installed joy and gladness by magically producing that wonderful way you have with that keyboard. Thanks for keeping those hymns alive and available.🇨🇦
Amen to that!
AMEN !! "))
I can’t get enough of watching Natalie play these wonderful songs.
Thank you, needed these hymns tonight to remind myself that God is in control.
Yes. He is....
Amen!
Amen. I was needing to hear you tonight. Because he lives. I can face tomorrow.
Thank you for playing these beautiful gospel hymns! “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
All glory to God. Thank you Jesus for anointing with wonderful gift. Esther Freeda from Sri Lanka.
34 atheist watched this. Good job woman you made me singing out loud at 0354am. I love it
Thank you so much for this blessing. Lost my father and mom within 3 years and I can still see them in church playing these on piano. But I know they are rejoicing in Heaven with the Lord!
Wow, you play with the same style that my Pastor's wife played-The Pastor who baptized me. I have always wanted to learn to play like her style. Gorgeous and so honourable to our Saviour Jesus!
Words just can't explain the mercy we receive every moment of our lives....especially in moments like this...
You deserve that fine keyboard. Beautiful renditions of hymns that tie Christians in God's love and wisdom.
😇🙌🏻My dad turned 98 June 22. He has lived alone until this past April and is now in the nursing home. Everyone at church knows that “What A Day That Will Be” is one of his favorite songs. Thank you for playing it. 😘❤️
Update. He gained his wings the 6th. What A Day That Will Be will be sung at his funeral Saturday. 🙌🏻

Sounds like my ole church on Sunday morning. Beach Grove Baptist Church Haleyville Alabama.
CHRISTIAN HYMNS ARE THE BEST MUSIC FOR EVERYONE!
Love it. Soothing and calming, and indeed it will be a glorious day when we see our savior
Why on earth would anyone in their right mind give a thumbs down on this beautiful talent?! When I grow up I want to play like you Natalie! (And I’m 56! 😂) I could listen to you play all day!! Keep up the good work!
I'm in the way, the bright and shining way; I'm in the glory land way....heaven is near and the way groweth clear - I'm in the glory land way. I used to sing this to my daughter as i swung her in a swing. Good times.
This is why natural talent needs to be nurtured. Did your parents help you when you were a child?
You obviously play by ear. You enjoy playing just for your own ears and because you love music.
The songs swirling around in your head need to get out and I’ll just bet no matter what musical instrument you pick up you will be able to make music from it.
Awesome talent and thank you for sharing it with us and the world.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the angels are listening too and are delighted as well.
Your music is a great blessing. I was privileged to be married to a pianist of comparable talent as yours for 47 years and I think of her everytime you touch the keyboard! Thank you and keep it up.
Natalie , thank you for the beautiful songs. I love it !!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. God bless you and your family.
T
Natalie, don't stop playing these beautiful Hymns. I used to listen to such playing in the 70s at evening Gospel service. You reminded me of that good Pianist who played like you. Thank you.
Gracias al Señor por este talento con el que glorificado al Señor y Rey.Desde Chile con amor.
Amen! All favorites.....your music thrills my soul !
Your ministry in music really encourages me. I'm a pianist myself and I always pick up some incredible hints while watching you play. Your playing is anointed and I sense God's presence when you play. God bless you richly!
My mother was a church pianist as well.We used stand around the piano and sing the old hymns.Oh in heaven we can do that again.I have such a great love for the piano.
I was about to go to bed when I saw a notification. What a good way to end my day ❣️ greetings from the Philippines 👋🏻
Its morning here. 10am in Phoenix Arizona. USA
Praise the Lord, all glory to our king, beautiful sister God bless You for your gift and sharing 🙏
Praise Yahweh your command of the keyboard is awesome!!!!
That’s right what a day that will be. Amen.
What a glorious day when my savior comes to get me :) the Lord Jesus Christ is everything ❤️
I play clarinet and violin and is wonderful to meet great Christian music to have fun.
These great hymns are timeless. Her talent is so great she can bring each song to life as if theres a great choir singing along as she plays each one! This is trmendous !
“His anger lasts for only a moment. But his favor lasts for a person’s whole life. Weeping can stay for the night. But joy comes in the morning.”
Psalm 30:5 NIRV
Thank you for the joy this morning.
Awesome ministry. Reminder to me that when we place our faith and trust in Jesus we live with Him forever. Jesus defeated sin and death..
one pianist that still plays hymns to another, you are very good!!
Beautiful music, such a blessing in this troubled world !,Thank you
Even so, Come quickly Lord Jesus.
I want to see and be with my creator and Father, God.
Thanks Natalie! My kind of music.
🎶 Great job.
Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!
Beautiful music. I could listen to you playing Natalie for hours. I wish I could play the piano like you.
GOLDEN is the right word, how we miss them today! 🎹🎹🙏🙏🥰🥰
Because I know He holds the future, my life is worth the living....... beautiful, I can only wish to play like that in Glory.
Praise God for this lady and may God bless her!!
How can there be 30 dislikes when she played so beautifully!??
Satan has his workers out there that despise this music, or any music that speaks of our redeemer. Spiritual warfare.
Also:apparently there are “bots” programmed to automatically dislike things. Think nothing of it. The truths contained in these pieces and the phenomenal playing cause the rest of us to absolutely rejoice!
Some people either don't like gospel music or they don't like this style of playing. As a Baptist I thoroughly love it and play this style myself, but I also enjoy listening to and playing more conservative hymn and anthem arrangements...i.e. Crown Him with Many Crowns, Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken, etc. I'm very selective, however, when it comes to contemporary Christian music. I find a lot of it to be musically boring and maddeningly repetitive, as well as devoid of doctrine.
Wonderful old hymns! Wonderful rendition! Thank you, Natalie. Because He lives!!
I had a dear neighbor who would play for hours as you do. How remarkable the memory of Mary Nell!!!
Wonderful! You play these old hymns the way they are meant to be sung! Thank you, young lady!
Whenever my grandma does pass away I’ll be singing what a day that will be. On January 31st my dad passed away so he was an amazing dad and husband to my mom.
You play beautifully, keep it up. Amidst all the thundering of Satan currently your music provides a wonderful solace.
Jump up,hallelujah 🙌 👏 🙏 🎶 praise 🙌 let's all praise him, thank you that was breath taking beautiful
I love these familiar hymns and your style. I feel my heart swelling with love, peace, and cheer.
Your music deserves 1000 bravos and 1.000,000,000 Hallelujahs ❤
You are my beautiful sister in the Lord....Thanks so much for your ministry to me and others as the fragrance of Jesus comes forth from your life and piano playing.
Natalie, you played one of my Dad's favorite song, What a day that will be. He was a pastor who taught himself how to play at the age of 17.
I heard him play all my life the songs that you play. I played What a day at his funeral a few years ago. Your videos are helping me right now as I am going through tough time. Thank you for using your talent to minster to me. Keep on sharing your talent.
God Created music for our souls , Thanks God 🙏
Thank you Natalie for listening to God to share your love of the Lord through your music. I get so convicted and comforted at the same time as I listen.
Absolutely beautiful! I listened over and over and cried tears of happy joy every time! Revival in my heart!
You play so beautifully. What a day that will be was played at my mother's funeral. Tomorrow, Jan 20th, will be the 42nd anniversary of her death. This song brings me both tears and joy.
Majestic. Thank you. Praise God. Because He lives. 🙏
Beautiful! God sent me this right one time!🎉❤
You play the piano beautifully. I enjoyed listening to you and the selection of hymns. You are such a joy and comfort to your family, congregation and everyone. Thank you and don't ever stop playing.
Thank you Natalie for beauty and conviction with which you play. It definitely found a place in my heart to give Jesus thanks and glory for your music and your message.
Beautiful! God has blessed you with a wonderful gift don't lose it! I just found this today which I am celebrating my 39th year what a gift to hear! Thank you Jesus for allowing me to hear this!
