This was my father's favorite hymn before Alzheimer's robbed him of his memory. At age 91, he forgets even the simplest memories. When I visit him I play this song and even though he can't remember, I can tell somewhere hidden deep in the recesses of his mind, there is some connection. Thank you for playing this song!!
This brings a blessing every time I hear it. After I lost my husband 4 years ago now I sang it constantly for almost a year. It still brings hope and comfort. Written by Gloria Adeogun.
I strongly agree with you... I am so greatly blessed here, with his rendition in the ministry of music through piano, in the joy and love of the Lord! 🤗♥️🙏🙌🙏♥️🤗
Knowing this we can have a life filled with hope and assurance for tomorrow! WE can live a life pleasing to God and have the ability and strength to do what God is leading us to do. I cling to this on a daily basis! Your songs are always so perfect for my day! I pray Gods' richest blessings upon you as you share the talent God has given you!!!! I am always BLESSED!!!!
This is a flawless worship video. Great job! God is deserving of our best offering and you were so prepared and polished. I have been playing in church for 30 years. It is an honor and privilege to play for our Lord and Savior. I try my best to always be prepared and rehearse the songs so that I can give him my best. By the way we have a new piano player in our church he's in college. I'm so thrilled he loves the Lord and wants to serve him by playing. You can bet your bottom dollar that I am backing off and letting him follow his passion. He's been playing on Sunday mornings.
Your playing is very professional sounding. These are two of my favorites hymns. I thank you for including this in your list to play. God Bless You Mr. Payne. Bonnie from (CA)
Praise The Lord! Eb is definitely a great key! I also like G. It has a beautiful, rich sound. It just takes some time practicing; keep up the good work:)
Does he need a bass player im from boca Raton fla been playing southern gospel for over 20years love it! Let me now we can even add a drummer!I know one
No question this guy knows his way around a piano. But very mechanical, where is the expression from his soul, light, and shade. Please take a minute and work this into your recital.
I truly wonder if people who post comments like this are above reproach regarding their advice. The guy is awesome and he takes his craft seriously...and it shows. Keep playing, Mr Payne!
Another repeated Welsh tune that occurs to join the runes that repeat at other locations in the ELW such as Duke Street, Greensleeves). Have you ever heard Hymn Tune Hartford (Victory in.Jesus)
The beautiful style, this very accomplished pianist uses, takes me back to the time in my youth when I was learning to play piano and pipe organ. This magnificent style was very widely used in many Baptist (as well as many other protestant) churches in the 1970's, 80's and 90's. I've been playing for 55 years and my heart still swells with love, praise and adoration to God when I hear this amazing gospel style!! Thanks so very much for sharing the talent with which God has blessed you!!! May God use your talents for His Glory for as long as you live ❤
Actually, no. You need to develop your EAR to be able to hear it better. There was no deficiency in his playing whatsoever. A solo pianist such as this has to produce the melody, harmony and rhythm simultaneously.....which he do very well.
Talent......God given. Man appreciated
Yes. He deserves all the Praise.

(Just having a goof; I play 90% in Eb by ear)
The playing is lovely. Nice modulation, too 😊
Praise The Lord! Eb is definitely a great key! I also like G. It has a beautiful, rich sound. It just takes some time practicing; keep up the good work:)

Do you use octave-chord for all your LH accompinamnet?
I do use octave-chord, but also a few other varieties. Thanks for watching.
@@apayne1116 What other varieties?
He completely left the melody out.
Thanks for your feedback.

I disagree
