Huge Sand Bass Surf Fishing San Pedro | Secret Fishing Spot in LA County | Lucky Tides Fishing

I tried a couple new fishing spots in the Palos Verdes and San Pedro area. Primary throwing swimbaits from the rocks. Caught a giant sand bass and missed some more calicos. Was really stoked to find some new areas to fish. Let me know what you guys think about the video. Tight Lines!

I fished this exact spot in pedro today with some warbaits powerbaits and underspins and didnt catch nothing today. Idk what im doing wrong, i even chummed up the water with sea urchins and muscles. I lost about 3 lures today :( haha

Dude I get skunked all the time. Went to this spot over the weekend and got skunked. I probably lost 3-4 lures myself haha. It’s hit or miss. Just gotta keep on grinding. Make sure to use weedless setups and like 30lb leaders to reduce losing lures. Also try to go at low tide if you can. It’s also dead winter right now and the fish are much less active in the cold water. If you go during summer your chances definitely go up!! Best of lock out there player!

What kind of braid are you using ? Lbs etc

30lb Rikimaru braid from Amazon. Very cheap and has held up great. Tons of colors and sizes. I even use 8lb for trout fishing. For fishing the rocks like this I’ll usually tie on a few feet of 20lb mono leader.
