She is a living legend. No one else quite like her, even though she is working in the time honored tradition of the chanteuse. Fabulous interpretations. I lovd her dearly.
I attended this concert and was hoping it would be a live record/cd release. Marianne's work with Bill Frisell is fantastic and it was a great show. Really lovely to find this posting. Thank you very much!!!
Marke Lanegan rules! Marianne has the coolest taste. A true Goddess on Earth. Pairing her with the incredible Bill Frisell was a brilliant idea. Too bad they didn't record together.
