Hello, so is the idea to remove the cartridge and store that alone in the fridge, and insert it into the pen and remove it again after each use? We are just giving one unit at a time. Will the pen be primed to give that dose and hold the insulin itself inside the needle, ie. so once you have done the priming, then set the dose, the cartridge can be removed before giving he injection (as your video of actually injecting the cat, shows)?
There are insulin pens for cats?? Are they available in the US as well? P.S. My cat is currently on Novolin twice a day. I hope there is a longer acting, once-a-day option available for cats in the near future.
