No, Cyrus the Great was not a prophet, but he was a follower of Zoroastrianism and its prophet, Ahura Mazda. Zoroastrian religion is the first monotheistic religion in the world, and all monotheistic religions in the world, such as Christianity, Islam, and Judaism, were inspired by Zoroastrian religion. It is amazing to think that someone banned slavery 2,600 years ago, while slavery was not banned in many European countries and even America a hundred years ago.

@@samanmolki Nah” According to the Bible, Cyrus the Great, king of the Achaemenid Empire, was the monarch who ended the Babylonian captivity. In the first year of his reign he was prompted by God to decree that the Temple in Jerusalem should be rebuilt and that Jews who wished to could return to their homeland for this purpose.
The surprise of God's choice is emphasized by the strong terms used by God to identify Cyrus: “shepherd” (44:28) and “anointed” (45:1).
Isaiah 45:1-25 ERV. This is what the LORD said to Cyrus, his chosen king: “I took you by your right hand to help you defeat nations, to strip other kings of their power, and to open city gates that will not be closed again. I will go in front of you and make the mountains flat.
Isaiah tells us that Cyrus is God's anointed, chosen to liberate the Jews from captivity and allow them to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple. God speaks to Cyrus and he responds, carrying out God's will.
