Did you happen to notice if any of the rental shops rent trekking poles for hiking? I'm planning a Taos hiking trip in December, but am flying carryon only, so can't take my poles with me. Thanks for the video! Will definitely visit Taos Ski Valley.

You can hike the highest mountain in New Mexico from Taos Ski Valley.....13,161 ft.....and it's got the steepest Ski lift in North America too.....the Kachina Lift.....opens up some awesome terrain to get after!!

It's a top 3 toughest lift served ski mountain in the USA..... Taos Ski Valley is epic for snow sports!

We were here in March and it was warm (skiing in a sweater or light jacket) but I think we were a little lucky too.
One thing they don't have much of is snow. Complete waste of $.
In some places the snow was low.
Ski valley very overpriced, bad food and little snow. Colorado a much better experience.
The Slopes are challenging. I have 2 other videos showing my wipeouts on the black diamonds. It is know for ski schools there.
Sorry. How about why people actually go there??? Skiing? This is so boring
