    If you didn't get to do it on this trip, the next one you take to Alaska, you should head up towards Valdez and visit Thompson Pass! There is a glacier there called Worthington. Which you can hike right up too. Much like Exit Glacier. And the views are just magical!

    It's pretty interesting to see just how far the Glacier has receded in just the last 11 years. Makes it feel like its now or never to see it

    This is so gorgeous. I love your presentations. I'm glad that you and your Pops had such an amazing time exploring together. The history of the glacier's diminished path is very interesting. 🤔

    Alaska seems to be very popular this year - thanks for taking us with, very interesting - great to see a glacier at work - some of those rocks and stones could have been moved miles and miles and have been picked up eons ago. Did you do a tour round Seward? That looks a cute place (busy, but cute!) Keep safe!

    Looking forward to the next videos from Alaska, going to Dick Proennekes cabin up at Twin Lakes is on my bucket list. Always been fascinated by him and Alaska in general. Great video!

    When is the best time to visit Kenai Fjords National Park?

    • @Thialeana
      @Thialeana 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any time in the summer. Though it rains alot in August and September in Alaska. I've been to Seward in the winter, and Summer. Each time was brilliant. If you do go in August you can see salmon jumping out of the ocean. It is so cool!

    it'll be gone soon since people won't stop going there

    • @twistoffate4791
      @twistoffate4791 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Visitors have nothing to do with a glacier's survival. Climate change does, and that's the part that could be prodded along by humans and the products they use.

    • @SonOfAGun1814
      @SonOfAGun1814 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@twistoffate4791 yes so much human activity and travel in so many aspects adds to climate change, as you know.
