We are staying here this week from Wednesday until Sunday at Resurrection Bay Lodge. We ended up in room # 6 with the view. We came her for my daughters wedding. What an amazing place to have it at.
I lived in Seward and worked for Major Marine Tours for about 4 months this time of year back in 2018 and it was magical. It's such a beautiful place! Watching this video makes me happy to reminisce and sad that I'm not still there. See everything that you two specifically point out along with the background stuff like the bike shop at :35 and Coho Joe's at :49 reminds me of a bunch of stories.
@@TrekkingPals A really cool thing to do there, if you ever find yourself going back, is the Primrose Trail to Lost Lake hike. It's physically the most strenuous thing I've ever done (granted I'm not Jacked McFitness) but words can't describe the feeling I had when I got to the lake and sat down by the coast.
Seward is my favorite place I’ve ever been to I grew up about an hour away from it. The last time I was there was 2013, boy I would love to go back it’s such a cozy place. I live in Florida now Alaska and Florida are quite different I sure would love to visit Alaska and Seward some day.
@@TrekkingPals We still pinch ourselves every day to make sure it's not a dream. We are here during the winter, although not in Seward. Currently on a remote island off the Kodiak Archipelago until April. Will make our way back home to Seward when we are done building a few things out here.
great video !! if my daughter is going to anchorage for just a few days, what is the best tour to take a train to seward and then a boat ride to see things as you explained?
OMG Habiba and Alex, your videos have been sooo helpful in planning our Alaska trip coming up! The best Alaska review I've seen so far. Quick question, what waterproof pants do you recommend (for men and women). and 2.) Which camera did you use for vlogging the trip? Any additional vlog equipment you recommend I purchase before we go?
I am so glad this helped :) 1) we didn't really pack waterproof pants but I think they would have been helpful for heavy rain days on the trail. We wore our columbia quick dry hiking pants. We are actually looking for rain pants for kilimanjaro this month and I'll let you know which one we are going to land on. 2) We alternated between a Go Pro Hero 7 black and a SONY Alpha 6300 for this trip. We have all our Hiking and Filming gear listed here kit.co/Trekkingpals I hope this helps and enjoy Alaska :)
@@TrekkingPals Oh how fun, safe travels to Tanzania. I just followed you guys on IG :) and ironically I have the Sony Alpha A6000 so maybe we'll just take that! Thank you so much for the info. Def going to pick up those anti microbial layers you shared.
Great video! We were there about a month ago, and this was one of my favorite places on our Alaskan tour. We took a Kenai Fjords boat tour which was amazing-saw a pod of humpback whales bubble net feeding, sea lions, seals, otters, bald eagles, puffins and many other sea birds, starfish, and beautiful glaciers. Stayed at the Windsong Lodge by the Resurrection River.
Thank you 🙏 I only experienced the 26 Glacier cruise. I heard great things about Kenai Fjords cruise. I’d recommend the later for higher chances of seeing whales 🐳 and to see Seward.

Alaska will always be home. Nothing compares to the way it connects with your heart and soul.
There’s no place like Alaska
Easy to fall in love with, but it's not an easy relationship.

That view from the top of Harding icefield !
It’s amazing isn’t it?
Flew over today from Tokyo and saw it from the air. Looks incredible in the video.
Wow that must have been a great sight with a bird eye view.
@@TrekkingPals I made a video but can’t figure out how to put it in reply. It’s on my channel if you want to see it.

Nice Video, thank you.. hey question, how many days to explore Seward.
At least 3 days in my opinion.
We were there 1.5 days, and I would have enjoyed another day.
So beautiful 😍
Great video! Gave me some tips

I’m not sure if i missed what dates. When was this? Thanks
Between July and August
No way! I just returned from Seward two weeks ago! How long where you guys there for?
Awesome! How did you like it? We spent a total of 4 days there in 2020
Alaska Alaska! Love my home
you're lucky to call Alaska home :)
@@TrekkingPals love it here, although sometimes I wish I lived in a place with shorter winters lol. The summers are amazing

which month did you visit? Which is the closest airport from TEXAS? Also I am looking to visit in June which places in Alaska would you recommend?
I recommend you check our playlists with all the places we visited. We enjoyed the Kenai Peninusula a lot. We were there between July and August
@@TrekkingPals thank you. I will.

@@TrekkingPals thanks a lot
I hear that the Prison across the bay is receptive to visitors. 😮
How busy was it up there at Exit Glacier?
Not that busy. Around 3 small groups
What time of the year were you there?
July/August
I would live in Alaska if it were not for the constant rains and the almost complete absence of sun
