@@Evil-Bad_NeighborI got only the kitchen sound added to my fan game project because I used a sounds editing program to turn a fnaf 4 kitchen mp3 download sound into a wav and thats the game hello neighbor prototype and pre alpha got the kitchen sound from. I don’t know where to find some other sounds other than sound snap such as the leaf rustling or the footsteps in the distance sound or that wooden creak at the entrance sound etc which are the ones i couldn’t find I don’t wanna have to buy premium unless I know I can get some of these somewhere else from other games sites (like the fnaf 4 chica in the kitchen sound)
I wonder who has gone to the trouble to find all the sounds, you can literally recreate HN prototype or any other game with all those sounds There are quite a few that I always wanted to listen to, others I don't know where they come from, some in the prototype HN (like the one in the church) Very interesting, congratulations :)
the artstyle change wasnt why the full release was bad, the problem was they tried to make the entire game built around lore instead of fixing game breaking bugs and issues, and steered too far from their original concept because of the yters and such

bro, Hello Neighbor had so much potential it could have been T for Teen or maybe even M for Mature because the Neighbor cursed a lot, but they had to make it kid friendly and make the most confusing puzzles and make it look cartoony

I‘ve been trying to find the Church Bells for quite some time & they were included for a quite short time in the ending of Alpha 1. Or they were in an unofficial fan-mod. Did you rip this from an official Steam release?
All the sounds were collected in pieces, specifically all the sounds from Pre Alpha, and Alpha 1 versions were exported, and also a huge number of early sounds from the prototype were thrown to me, and also some sounds were found on the Soundsnap website.
It would be cool to know where most of these came from, i assume its like soundsnap or other stock sound websites but yea, also the whispering people i only found recently and Jonathan Geer made 'near_hunt' (Beckoning Shadow) and'attack' (The Black Wind) from pre alpha but idk where near_idle comes from, probably one of the stock libraries
It seems like this game was gonna be alot more edgy and the neighbor was probably originally gonna be an actual serial killer with bodies in his basement
I just wanna back when the game was very misteryous,when everything was very hard and realistic,people will say,having a cofin,train in your house is realistic? Obviously no,but im talking about the stealth,HN losed the realism,if you are in a house,and you hear footsteps,what will you doing,New HN:Pick a box,run and dodge the neighbor or Old HN:being careful,crawling,hiding in closets and dont make sounds,basically 60% will do that
There is one sound that plays when the Neighbor got near the player in the Announcement Trailer/Prototype and it’s kind of like this little bass sound effect that can also be heard when the player spots a camera using binoculars near the end of the 10 min Pre-Alpha gameplay video. I don’t know what it’s called but I would like to know. Also I laughed my ass off at this part 13:39
I always thought the people whispering at the end where just the player kinda like ok i just barely escaped and i need to gather my thoughts Edit: also WHAT would something like that mean and honestly the neighbors chase footsteps i think made it into the final games files but where unused
The file of people whispering has never been in any version, much less in the release, in the game files, even in the mod kit there is nothing like that.
@@Evil-Bad_Neighbor I followed this other vid on "how to view the game files of the hello neighbor 2 alphas and hello neighbor 1 alphas" with the command prompt of my version of unreal engine and after following the steps I drag the stuff to the content folder but it doesn't go in, and if I try dragging it to the content in the actual editor thing it says "unknown extension .uasset file" or something like that.

I also want to say that the sounds from hn 2 are not so easy to get, because new versions of hn 2 have a certain protection, in fact, I know little about it.
