Chambers never gets his flowers. He was a good scorer during his time and was scrappy as hell. Guy even had a signature move showcased on those Electronic Arts basketball video games in the early 90's!
Tom Chambers and the other dude I can’t remember who played with two front teeth missing about the same size were ballers back in the day! Big athletic and can shoot would be rich in todays game. Man other guy played for Denver hate getting old 😂
Dan Issel! I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. Male. Issel, Alex English and Kiki Vandeweghe were a high scoring trio.
@@shakirahmad5946 While Denver had their Dan Issel, Alex English, Kiki Vandeweghe high-scoring trio, the Sonics had Tom Chambers, Dale Ellis, and Javier McDaniel, all of who score 20+ points. When I was younger, I used to wonder why these teams didn't win championships. Well, they weren't stellar, defensively, unfortunately. But, fun to watch!
Those were some exciting teams to watch! I think the coach was Mo for Denver and he always had a leading scorer on his team. They played a fast pace style very fun to watch.
Wouldn't call him bum. Yet how "successful" would the Spurs be if they didn't run load management despite having loaded teams. I remember watching other teams with less help having to go through more grind in the regular season. This was the Spurs playoffs secret during that era. Yet you'll never hear Tim or Manu fans admit this. They rather talk about how Tim "carried bum David Robinson". Rather than admit they had loaded teams.
@@onlyfacts3178 Manu beat Tim Duncan in that run you speak of. Funny how no Tim fans want to talk about this. Yet again you can debate that it was the greatest team in Argentina history. So once again Manu was on a loaded team. So was Tim.

Chambers should be in the HOF. Only guy with over 20,000 points whose not in. Had games of 60 and 56. Averaged 27.2 one year. All-star MVP.
Kimda funny Tom has a statue of himself dunking on Mark Jackson.
Yea the sun's made it for him
Interesting how both Shaq/Barkley showdowns saw another Sun player shine in the spotlight
Chambers here and Richard Dumas in the rematch on NBC
The early days of the glorious sunburst era (1992-2000).
Tim chambers was elite
His brother Tom was even better
@@Lordhumongus 😂😂
When Chambers had his jumper going he could light you up all night. His post moves and drives were based on it at times.
Chambers is 6'11 but move like a guard
6'8" at most; NBA heights are exaggerated almost as much as WWE
@@Ryenobal Yea, think he is listed 6'10", so I would say he is legit 6'9" tops.
This Barkley guy is all right. Really coming into his own. Good pick.
Tommy C was a beast. Barkley and Chambers were a fun combo too.
Love it! Have the full game?
hopefully i may get around to posting it here: odysee.com/@MaalDweb:3
has this been spoken about in any podcast lol

Thanks they both could ball!

Do you have the full highlights
Chambers should be in the hall of fame. It almost feels like stern hated his play style because it was too similar to the brothas. 🤷🏾♂️
He played with Black Guys while in high school this was said by him in a documentary about his early years in Colorado.
Lmao... never once did that document say that 🤣🤡💩... don't be a racist... Smfh
Dumb racist comment...
🤣🤡💩
lol
how is Tom not in HOF while bum like Ginobili gets in 😆
Because of the playoffs. People don't care about the regular season anymore. You can thank the Spurs for starting load management.

I can only assume you're one of the countless butt hurt fans of teams/players/countries that got absolutely curb stomped by Manu over his career.
🗣️TOM CHAMBERS IS A BEAST . HE WAS DIRK BEFORE DIRK . JUST WITH BETTER DEFENSE . HE SH🟢ULD BE IN THE HOF . SMH .>🎤 🏀🗑️
His game was FAR beyond Dirk...
