Before the internet was a thing, this dunk truly lived in mythology. Every now and then you'd talk to somebody who supposedly had seen it on a highlight reel and by the description, you'd have thought Chambers almost hit his head on the rafters, not the rim. The first time I saw it, I almost didn't believe what I saw.
    Great video, btw.

This dunk turned into an unstoppable move on Lakers Vs. Celtics . Because no matter where you were, Around the basket Tom chambers would make the dunk. I never saw the dunk until I was older. I never knew the story behind this dunk. March Jackson did go on and have a good career and was a winning head coach, he is in the top ten of all time for assists. and is a very good commentator. But him getting dunked on like that by chambers will forever stand with him. When Mark met Tom after 20 years, he handled himself pretty well. This was interesting. I am now a subscriber.

Thank God Jackson's chest was there to slow Tom down or he would've broken his face on the backboard.😂

First unrestricted free agent. The Andy Messchermitt Dave McNally of the NBA ( MLB players) Is this why TC is not in the HOF? Too much of a rebel back in the day?

It is exaggerated though about how good the Suns and Knicks were. This was the year of the Bad Boys winning the first championship. The Celtics, Lakers, Pistons were the teams with the Bulls up and coming. Cleveland was even better than the Knicks, The Blazers were the team that unseated the Lakers in the West. The Suns were a nice story, but never really title contenders.

Marv Albert with the worst non call of an amazing dunk. Not even a half hearted "yes".

To TC24, and everybody who reads my comment: I want you to know this about me, so that you can understand where, when and how I grew up, and why I think the way I do about things: I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. A Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American (which shows you HOW I grew up). I HATED how Tom Chambers KILLED the Blazers! Being 5'10", which is very average height, but going to church around other Japanese-Americans, I was one of the taller ones. Therefore, I tried to play a "Tom Chambers type of game." Ball-Handling: B. Put the ball on the floor well for a man his size.
