    What Stephen A should have said is that percentage does not equal makes either. So Steph attempting 7 from the furthest distance that he shoots but makes 4 would of course represent a lower percentage than LeBron attempting 3 and making 2. The probability of this particular percentage being sustained with more attempts by LeBron from such a distance is probably also little.

    I understand what SAS is saying, he's not allowing Max to insinuate anything regarding Lebron shooting better long distance. Bottom line Curry takes more regular 3's than Lebron and if you watch the games common sense would tell you Lebron takes a lot more 25 ft 3's than Curry. The question we should ask, is why does Currys team benefit from his shooting while the Lakers dont benefit from Lebrons . SAS makes a great point

    If Deandre Jordan takes 2 free throws all year and makes both that’s 100%. But if Steph Curry takes 100 and makes 95 that’s 95%. By this logic that means Deandre Jordan is a better free throw shooter than Curry? Smh

      Most of Lebrons 3s are not as heavily contested as Currys, he's allowed to dribble into a rhythm and shoot while his defender watches out of respect for Lebrons ability to blow by defenders. Credit to LeBron for making them though.

    Steven A is right, this is a preposterous assumption because it's not a 'fact'

    It's also the circumstances like Stephen A said. How many attempts? When were the shots taken and were they open shots or shots that were defended? I've seen Steph taking deep threes, and often making them despite the fact that a defender was present. Steph is known to attempt shots from the moment he passes half court. So even some of his deep threes are in the face of a defender.

    So the Lakers history doesnt really matter unless it was Magic showtime? Now that Lebron is on the lakers they somehow try to downplay The Shaq and Kobe Lakers dynasty. It was just a bunch of free throw shooting is a very narrow minded comment. The Lakers were much more than what max tries to depict .

    • @MentalStillness
      @MentalStillness 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Magic's teams beat better competition and did more for the legacy but I give credit to Kobe for leading his own squads and winning 2 additional titles.

    • @105dennism

      Anjohn Davis the showtime Lakers were the best Lakers simply because of success and longevity. I agree that Max was wrong for his assessment of the shaq and Kobe Lakers was wrong

      @@MentalStillness lol so kobe and shaq 3 peat just wasnt tough huh? Portland? Sacramento? They were down 3-1 and came back. They had dogfights. But hey whatever. Showtime was great probably never seen em but to downplay there three peat? Naw that shit is hard. See lebron didn't do it

    LeBron is better than Jordan and Kobe in shooting percentage.. but MJ and Kobe are better than LeBron in winning championships and that's the most important statistics of all.. coz teams compete to win.,team don't play basketball only to set great shooting percentage.,they compete to WIN.. WINNING IS VERY IMPORTANT

  • @otownboy8749
    @otownboy8749 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The difference is that Steph's range has more impact than LeBron..... which in my opinion if you're a great player you have to stick by your own identity, and really LeBron's Game right now doesn't have consistency, other than pile up stats

    I don't care what the statistics say. I do not care how well LeBron is shooting from 3.
    He is nowhere near the long distance shooter that Stephen Curry is, period. I don't have to give credit where credit is due when it comes to LeBron. He gets enough credit for everything else already. People still call him the best player in the world when he doesn't play a lick of defense, AT ALL. Can't wait till he's done playing.

    Very articulate and intellectual brother..Kool channel! You are so on point on this subject! If Lebron takes 2 shots and scores1 out of 2 that's like a 50% average. Well that's proper reasoning right there for ya..cheers! Let's see Lebron shot more an then do the tally....

  • @ToeRay81

    I’m trying to see what everyone else sees as far as Lebron thing. How can you tell how good a player is when he has no defense on him and cries to the refs every play like omg.

    Not the focus of the video but Max said something I disagree with. Dr Jerry Buss is not the greatest owner, George Steinbrenner is the greatest owner in American team sports.

    • @105dennism
      @105dennism 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why do you disagree because the NBA has many more strict rules than baseball and Dr. Buss didn't have silly rules and allowed his players more freedom I'm not saying you're wrong but what in your opinion makes the late Mr. Steinbrenner the best?

    • @NYC87
      @NYC87 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dennis Murrie sure bro, in my opinion I think George Steinbrenner is the greatest owner cus he was comfortable making tough decisions. It’s easy to sign a bunch of all stars and cross your fingers hoping you can make it all the way. But George was paying the luxury tax, which is the tough part of free agency if your trying to win a chip that way. I also think he had a one of the best General Managers in baseball in Brian Cashman only Theo Epstein rivals him in recent history. He was not only able to get big names in NY but he also brought in those key players that made the World Series possible. He was so in tune with his business and the sport that he had a gut feeling about David Ortiz back when he played for Minnesota and tried to go for him but changed his mind about it. It’s said in 03 he was really upset after David Ortiz blossomed.

      I appreciate you taking the time to say why because I didn't know much about him because I'm more of a Basketball and Football fan and don't follow baseball too often unless my Tigers are good.
