EXACTLY, Kawhi doesn’t need to be there and neither does Joel Embiid. USA basketball is a bunch of irrelevant pickup games that looks good on paper, but doesn’t matter in the end. NOBODY talks about Barkley, Ewing, or Malone or anyone else’s gold medal. It’s about championships, and that’s not a slight at patriotism. Teams should have a insurance clause that prevents injury prone players that have missed two or more post seasons from playing. There’s plenty more players that can replace them.
