I'm a Dimapurian by birth, been to Kohima couple of times and never to Mokokchung. But in my opinion, Nagas as a whole have a great taste in fashion. So, it's not like one particular district that is more or less fashionable than the other. There are fashionistas everwhere, be it Dmr, Khma or Mkchg. Also, because Kohima and Mokokchung are comparatively colder, maybe, people can dress up more but in places like Dimapur, its hot. So people prefer wearing more light and comfortable clothes, slippers, shorts, etc. Doesn't mean people in Dimapur are less fashionable. There are hella' lot. :)
Being fashionable is okay but let us be humble and kind. Let's keep that down to earth decency in our character no matter what our dress is. These days some people doesn't want to go church because they don't have good clothes to wear. That's really intriguing ,feels bad 😔
Dimapur can also be fashionable cos the other districts import the products directly or indirectly from Dimapur... We just don't care cos of the temperature 😁

More fashionable as compared to kohima I can't say from my experience for 5-6 years in mkg town but cleanliness we should totally agree. The only set back here is that things (commodities) are mostly very expensive & less negotiable & also free public services are very rare.
Fashionable is no doubt, But Like in Kohima People always judge/monitored the people they dress. Well dressed for 24x7 with empty wallet is a shame. Dimapur is the Best. People can go out anywhere by wearing Half Pant/T.Shirt, Chappal with hefty wallet.
Different people have their different views... Ya Kohima people are also fashionable I agree to, but in some condition. Mokokchung we are some how lack compared to Kohima in some way. One thing to be note is that, Mokokchung is dominate by Ao community but Kohima it's a mixed community. One good thing about Kohima is the transportation cus the distance between Kohima and Dimapur is around 80 to 90 km. The things that are imported to Dimapur from other major cities are easily exported to Kohima. Where as, Mokokchung is not that way. But still than the people of Mokokchung holds the position I should say. "We got limited resource but we know how to use it"
Though im not born in mokokchung ,i was brought up from there from nursery till i graduate from Fazl Ali Colg i love mkg n the living standard its been 9 years i left mkg but i still miss my small town, keep it up all the beautiful people of mkg.

Kohima is way more fashionable. How can we say that mokokchung district is fashionable? Only one satisfactory complex with clothes which are already outdated for the kohima and dimapur people, yet the way the shopkeeper charge the amount makes the people think its the most trending one😂 Yet the thing which I like about mokokchung people is that the way they try to promote and preserve their culture and also not letting the non locals to take control of their economy, This really speaks a lot.. A very good example to all the Nagas I should say.

A native of Mokokchung, I say Mokokchung isn't as chic as Kohima or Dimapur. But when it comes to sanitation, cleanliness, weather, Mokokchung beats them both. Kohima and Dimapur are too densely populated, stenchy and stuffy. Unlike in Mokokchung, shopkeepers in Dimapur I have observed don't bother to keep a waste bin in their shop, so their surroundings become a dumping ground. Yucky!

now a days naga youth are becoming hardworking and progressive because every business like cloth business enterprises hardware electronic tourism software business hotel tourism construction showroom motor garage all in all are done by naga people only in this way they are actively involved in making new clean and tidy market road street city naga govt planning to build broad carpeted road for easy transportation and mud dust free env also adoptiong modern agriculture cattle farming etc naga govt are building solar panels project hydropower project by naga govt self sothat to create job and plenty of energy to sell and use for development
No doubt Nagas are very much advanced in Fashion which is a good thing these days. But we are really protective in a way that we totally neglected social communication. The frankly behavior as observed and traveled in different states, we are gloomy and saying Hi! to strangers or communicating is a crime.
In a nutshell, I see mkg as the land of pioneers. These land has given some of the greatest personalities as well as (sorry to say these) giving birth of corruption eg taking away the lion share of election constituencies, hence the Money that poured in has gave you great advantages in striving forward with lesser efforts then other district. ( hence, the huge disparity we see among Nagaland districts now). So, I think the younger generation had a huge responsibilities to give something to our nagas society as a reparation. Bitter pill should needs to force down the throats for the mistake of your past leaders. But overall, I love the vlog and especially love the maturity shown by the young and beautiful ms. Sangromenla through her view. I wishes her success in her endeavor.
