I love breathing new life into old stories that the internet would otherwise leave buried forever. If there's a story, lore, or worthwhile tale you think deserves a deeper dive, make sure to let me know.
It's like a trainwreck...you just can't look away. How did it keep getting worse??? Also the Marvel-style end clip @11:42 made me cackle cause he hits the nail on the head so casually
Honestly, this even was the perfect balance of just enough going wrong where it remained interesting, but not so much going wrong that they would have to send in rescue teams and answer for war crimes. There's a lot of stories to be found in the gaps between lol
I didn't know this "event" existed, and based off of the content of your video, there are multiple good reasons why. What an absolute nightmare of an event
I think the FBI is just doing its best to erase all evidence of its existence. The average population is better off not knowing that such atrocities can happen almost anywhere at any time.
All good things start small, and all great achievements are made up of many small moments of support. Consider yourself in on the ground floor of the many good things I hope to deliver in the future. 😊
2:03 ....................................... i care .......................................... With Fyre Festival becoming a thing just a short 2yrs later, you gotta wonder if Billy McFarland took a look at Gaming Paradise and thought "Yeah, I could do that."
people that make big promises about events and don't deliver-and don't deliver in epic proportions-really piss me off...this is why we can't have nice things, lol. How do we identify and ferret out these bad actors????? Nice video-thanks for bringing it to light (and this bad actor in the process).
The fact alone that they didn't stream via Twitch, which... at the time, was the only somewhat stable platform says it all lol. A real shame to have so much talent in one place and to not even have a good catalog of the event.
@@sirlukas2 Yeah, it was DEFINITELY hard to track down info on something from 2015. I like scrubbing for these forgotten stories though. Glad it provided a little fun for the moment.
I mean... Passports were *literally* confiscated at this tournament... 😂 And in this instance... As a direct result of the tournament and its mismanagement. India was bad, sure, but it doesn't feel like it quite lives up to the insane fumble that Gaming Paradise was imo.
An appreciated notion, but just know that when/if I do put a sponsor in a video, not only will it be for something I use or endorse... But, it'll be something that I legitimately think my viewers will benefit from. As long as I can eat and pay my bills, I'm hoping to keep it that way.
It was that... Or absorb all of the money they'd spent so far and head home. If I had to choose between sticking it out for another day or two for a chance to be paid, or simply lose all the money I'd invested up to that point... holding out for the *possibility* of getting paid doesn't seem too crazy to me.

Woah, this video has only 454 views? Good content man, best of luck for the future! :)

The very first of festival-based 'hold my beer' one-upsmanship. lol
Great video man keep going
The only path for me is forward. I just hope it also includes an upwards direction. Thank you for the kind words. 😊
I saw your Shanghai dragon video and really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work!
Really glad you took the time to check out some other stuff as well then! Thanks for the kind words and support.

Great video, keep it up!
I can only try to bring some fun and stories forward. Hopefully they continue to entertain.
Thank you for the kind words and support.
This event was such a mess. Remember it crystal clear, streams were also terrible

@@XDeej Totally agree. Very good video, covered it well even for someone who looked all over reddit for information on this thing back in the day :)

Eh, still pretty tame compared to 2012 India Gaming Festival where Moscow5 got their passport stolen or something.

I don’t know why but I actually got kind of happy when I thought you got a sponsorship lol

My question is who were the idiots who agreed to be paid the prize money after 90 days, especially after everything that happened

I was here before it was cool
My mom has ALWAYS thought I was cool...
She doesn't subscribe tho. So... You win.
Overwatch
That... is a game.
Very entertaining and informative video, easy sub and like 🫡
Much appreciated!! If there's someone else who would dig it, don't hesitate to share around. 😊
