This was a Pay Per View in 1991, the year I started to play guitar at 16 years old. The excitement my guitar playing friends and me had in anticipation of this Expo was that of a kid and Christmas. Up until this performance, I only wanted to learn Zep, Floyd, Clapton and Hendrix. This opened up a new world to me. Wasn't long after I was on a steady diet of fusion. I wanted a white Les Paul so bad back then and now watching this, I want one again. Great memories. RIP Larry Coryell and George Duke.
Two for the Road- bester Straight Aheadjazz pur!! RIP Larry!!
My God, those were the good days!! Where have they gone?!! I have seen Larry live in The Hague at the North sea jazz festival.Afterwards i met him backstage and we had a chat and a couple of beers. What a great guy he was!!! The same for Stanley when he played in Amsterdam at the melkweg! Wonder what Larry is up to these days
Me too! Best version of School Days IMHO. Larry fit the guitar in just right. When I hear the studio version it doesn't sound quite right with out Larry's guitar riff magic...
Just found this today, had and wore through 1 of my 2 LPs, along with Stanley's other great albums. Glad I found it! Got here looking for Coryell+ McLaughlin's "Spaces" album. Another old LP fave.
Wasn’t there but saw the highlights on tv. Wow! Thats got to be the best version of the song. The guys just clicked with amazing guitars from Larry and Stanley on impeccable form. That’s what music is all about.
Dennis Chambers, Larry Kimpel, Ray Cooper too…….what a band. George D pulled in many of these guys (including horn section) from his ‘Snapshot’ album sessions
Good to see Larry. He absolutely killed his solo. The video editor should have been fired. He had tons of cameras but used he wrong shot half the time for this video.

Doesn't get much better than this. I remember staying up to watch this live on tele as a kid who played guitar. Seville Guitar Expo 92.

It always irritated me that Larry never quite got the public attention that his buddy McLaughlin did. He was always there to have FUN!

Viva Coryell!
7 thumbs down? Lol you got be kidding! Fantastic guitarist and one of the greatest bass players ever!
They must be tone deaf , or just like basic chords because there are none here .
Humanity at its best spirits from the higher reality must be looking down at this kind of positivity 🙏🙏🏼🙏🏽👍🏼💖🔥🌅👌🏼🎸🎸💫🥁🎻🪕🎸🎷💫
Not sure how this has so few views! This !@#$ should be taught in in school! Broadcast wideband!
Is that George Duke on keyboards? I'm pretty sure!

Una demostración de lo imposible con un bajo, lo de Stanley Clarke, me sigue pareciendo imposible

Good to see Larry. He absolutely killed his solo. The video editor should have been fired. He had tons of cameras but used he wrong shot half the time for this video.
Inspired by Dickey Betts’ Jessica.
Gua cuma bisa bilang fantastic, apalagi kalau drummernya Steve Gadd, or Billy Cobham
There was no coke backstage. No way
Who knew Barack Obama was such a great bass player?
Living under a rock?
Of course crap like Billie Eilish has a ton of views and this has 35K NO JUSTICE!
Larry always had one the weakest tones, but one of my favorite players
