    The Spurs don’t want Trae. And even if they did, why rebuild when you already have a solid team that just needs a star to lead them? If you don’t believe Alex Sarr will be a star in this league, then that’s your opinion. But the Hawks are in no position to start over. The best thing they can do is take the big who has been mocked #1 on nearly every mock draft and see what happens.

      @@kareemblackston2049 it did when they went to the eastern conference finals. How a team is constructed around your best player is vital. One player can’t win you games regardless how good they are. Plus the Hawks have been injury prone and that alone ruins team chemistry when you’re trying to collect W’s from a night to night basis in the NBA.

    Sarr averages per 36 minutes are 20.3 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.8 blocks, 1 steal with 52% FG. Those stats come from the closest league to the NBA, the NBL, so he should be ready pretty fast. That is why everybody is mocking him first. I think he'd be a cool fit with the Hawks

    Why is there a narrative from you for the Hawks to rebuild? The best course of action is to keep the pick and improve the roster by moving other players like Capella, Hunter, Murrary, etc.

    Blowing up a team is easy. Rebuilding through the draft is hard. Superstars don’t come easy. Rebuilding without your own picks is almost insanity. Why is everyone giving up on Trae so early in his career is so odd to me. Why not trade DM for a 3/d SG, trust in your player development and get some depth? Good call on number one pick though. I dont see what hype is about Sarr.

    Atlanta would be a terrible location for Ware. Ware desperately needs to go to an organization with leaders, and a staff in place that can develop him . He does not need to go to a mess of a franchise that lacks leadership. Put him someplace like Milwaukee where he can learn next to Giannis, or something like that.
    Lots of really talented people have failed in the league because they ended up in a place without leadership, and Ware has shown to have his issues.

    Trae is worth a lot more to the hawks than what you are saying. You’re acting like he’s 30 year old aging star that has no value to a team that still has other young players like Jalen Johnson. Trae is TWENTY FIVE. This is not the time to blow it up.

    #9 and 2-3 1st for Sarr??? No one is giving 4 firsts for Sarr. No one is paying 2-3 1sts to move up 8 spots i n a draft everyone agrees is flat at the top.

    There’s no way in hell anyone is trading for the number 1 pick. That slot is going to be $15 million or so. For a player that’s worth 10 max. No way. And you’re way over valuing the hawks players like crazy. No one is taking bogy for a first round pick. Especially for a 2025 or 2026 pick. And Trae young isn’t getting most of your picks back.
    Also, K ware will go after 10. I think he will be in play between 12-16

    With no KD led warrior dynasty team out there why blow it up? It makes more sense when you don’t have a chance to win. It seems health and match ups is the biggest factor in post season success right now. ATL should give itself more chances. Didn’t Dallas just miss the playoffs like last year? They didn’t blow it up did they?

    ...if the Hawks want there picks back...this is what it would take...switch picks this year Spurs get the 1st overall and the Hawks get the Spurs 4th pick plus Trae young and the Hawks get back all there picks and Graham branham and basey...we get Trae young and the first pick...risacher...the Hawks could flip the pick 4th pick to the wizards and dejounte for the wizards second overall pick and future picks... the wizards get the 4th pick plus dejounte... it's a win for all three teams... Spurs still get to keep there picks going forward plus the bulls pick in 2026...wemby risacher sochan vassell and Trae young...wizards get the 4th overall plus dejounte...and the Hawks start there rebuild this year... it's a win win for all three teams...

Wouldny mind trading dejounte for picks next year or pick 1 for picks next year and hope somehow lottery luck goes hawks way again and we get a top 5 pick and find the 3rd piece needed to build alongside trae and jalen but no point trading trae for next year just to give the spurs a chance to get another great draft pick

    1st off, Trae & Murray will stay Hawks. We don't care about those random picks or about asinine opinions from people who care nothing about the Hawks.
    Our 2 most productive players are reasons the Hawks are the 5th highest scoring team in the nba last season. Sarr will work for us. Now you know. Mind your business & just say no. You must be high,.. I meant low.

    • @MickTalksHoops
      @MickTalksHoops  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Sarr right now is not better than either of your centers... Also have fun as the 10th seed again and giving San Antonio a top 10 pick in a stacked draft

    • @CatchUpEra
      @CatchUpEra 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @MickTalksHoops Look, Nostredomus,..The only thing I can possibly agree on is that Sarr (may not) ?¿?-replace our starting center in the beginning. YOU DON'T KNOW. We REALLY WON'T KNOW untill CAMP & the beginning of the season. It'll be a pleasant SURPRISE if he does start. PF,.. is more likely. With Jalen Johnson at the 3.
      Despite slander & nonfactual rumors, Capela has great value for the Hawks as a physical big who consistently scores double doubles-NBA ranked #14 in DD2'S. He's also #1 in Off. Rebs & #9 in total rebounds. Along with other stats like charges drawn & boxouts. Plus, Okongwu hasn't lived up to expectations. He's shown potential yet, he doesn't rebound enough. This high volume 3 shooting team has scorers. We need more than 1 consistent rebounder and a rim runner whose mobile & blocks shots. Sarr has the skillset & will develop quickly & get valuable time at PF and Center. Depending on match-ups. Either way, we're winning the southeast division & will be playoff contenders this season. Like it or not.
      Also, Murray has accomplished major career highs. Several scoring marks up to 40 plus. A career high of 44. Stepped up, didn't get injured when many others did. Murray got better every season. Career high stats of 22.5 ppg, 6.4 Ast, 5.3 Rebs & 1.4 steals. He ended up #8 in steals. #4 in deflections. Murray made several buzzer beating game-winners in the process. Trade who??
      Thus, the reason for all the trade rumors & nonsensical trade narratives. They didn't bite at the deadline & they're not biting now. Many people like seeing the Hawks fail. They hate & criticize them & Trae for any reason. Yet GM's want him on their teams. Murray too. Trae's already toppled most Hawks franchise records in only 6 seasons. Many guys play 19/20 years & never accomplished as much. Trae & Murray are looking to prove naysayers wrong this season. Sarr as the 1st pick, will definitely have a big impact. No need for dumb trades or rebuilds. 8 players averaging doubles in scoring for them. Sarr will definitely make 9. Many draft picks never make the nba every season. They can trash those Spurs picks. In 2 seasons, Murray, as a former 1st rounder,.. has proven to be worth every one those picks & some. Who cares about the plus / minus team efficiency crap or any of the other fake narratives about the team & chemistry. Real coaching fixes all this. Quin is on the clock. No excuses.
      Murray & Trae's true value is in their consistency as the top 2 performers on a high scoring, deep team. they'll prove to be better this season. Everybodies looking to devalue & fleece the Hawks of their talent with undue criticism as usual. They can forget about it. Why not Booker, Beal & Durant with the Suns Or the Grizzlies with Morant, Jackson & Bane? They struggle & can't seem to win either. No dumb trade rumors for them though. Logically, the Hawks will delete from the bottom of the roster. Not the top. They'll then be able to win with the addition of Sarr & a few more role players. See you in the playoffs. Not the 10th seed. Regardless.
