Considering the character Lawrence Tierney plays, Claire Trevor still steals the movie. The scene where she visits Esther Howard and discusses death with her is unforgettable. Side note; the director of this movie directed "The Sound of Music "
Film noir and that was one of the Great ones, the last one of those unforgettable films being Odds Against Tomorrow with Ed Begley Robert Ryan etc. 1959 and then they came to an end. Thank You !
