This orchestra has an amazing sound...they are so in tune and musical. I was really impressed when listening to this group...it sounds like a professional recording, not like it was a home video. I love the tone of the strings and brass. Very very well done.
This arrangement is for orchestra and by the same arranger, Duthoit, It is almost identical. I am preparing the score for band and was following it with the orchestra. So, I am assuming the orchestra arrangement did not have saxes?
But it does, when we played this peace in my orchestra, we had these 2 really loud sax players... I can remember it really well. We also played it at 0.75 speed of this recording though

They probably didn't have any. My orchestra are doing it and it has saxophones
Where are the saxophones? This arrangement has saxophone parts...
It's possible they couldn't find sax players, or that no one in the orchestra knows how to play sax.
