Dude's got that Rick Steves cadence. Good looking garden beds. Hoping to build something similar next year. Thanks for the tips.

You’re a God sent …thank you a beautiful and very doable project I can do. Bravo beautiful work!

Hey there! I'm doing a similar project, and I've been referring to your video as a guide. Thank you for sharing it. If I may give feedback, I wish it were slower and showed the details like how you measured your form, how you built it, how you mixed the concrete, etc. Nonetheless, it's still helpful, and I hope mine comes out nice like yours. Thank you😊

Nice job. I'd never try it cause I could never get down, or if I did I'd still be down there. Awesome work.

Yeah this project definitely took it's toll on my back

Looks great, this is a project I need to do when my current wooden raised beds finally fall apart!
What would you do differently next time?

I'd probably try to avoid cutting the bricks, that was a ton of work. I'd bet there are some suppliers with exactly the size I needed, just needed to spend more time looking.
That and avoid breaking the water line ;)

Wow such a great build! Can you go into how you designed the automictic watering system? It looks like the PVC hooks into a control box of some kind then to drip lines.

This project seemed like a ton of work but it looks really good! I’m wondering if you made plans so you wouldn’t have to cut any bricks? Also what are the white pipes for? Automatic watering? Thanks for sharing your build

Yeah it was a ton of work. You're right, the pipes are hooked up to the sprinklers that used to be there for automatic watering. Thanks!

Yeah I had the pipes set up for automatic watering, but I ended up replacing them. They are attached to the old sprinkler lines

What kind of brick did you put on top layer ?

Do you recall how much mortar you used? And how much concrete?

If I build it on tiles, do I follow the same method? Do I need drain pipes

What size were the timbers you used for the form?

Did you just mix mortar and water or do you have to put adhesive

    • @befreebuilds
      @befreebuilds  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Just the mortar and water. I didn't add any adhesive

Could have left the forms, they hold moisture and break down into nutrients
