Thank you so much. I’ve got mine coming on Saturday I am so excited. I’ve had a Blentec blender for 20 years but it is noisy and every time I turn it on people say oh can’t you do that outside so but I love how it performs but it’s not good for the ears, so I was praying about this son I just felt like I could get it so I went ahead and got it
Oh man I need one. I have an older blendtech and it is super loud. This would be awesome for use in the morning while my daughter is still snoozing. Now to get a suga mama to buy me one. Haha
OK Henry....seriously, which is best? Vitamix or Blendtec...in your opinion. I've had both, even bought a Vitamix through you, but want to upgrade and give mine to my daughter. I'm so confused now.
If you don't like using tampers or you want a powerful blender then get the Blendtec. But If you don't like switching or changing jars for your blender, or you are used to dials and switches then the Vitamix is for you. The Vitamix is more practical. But the Blendtec is sleeker and great if you don't make Nut butters. Mayonnaise is another negative on the Blendtec. It's just so much powerful. Vitamix as I said is more practical and convenient. But I will tell you that if you have a food processor the Blendtec is perfect. The Blendtec is the most powerful blender too.
I don’t care about minimizing noise and just want the most powerful blender with the largest capacity because I have a big family. What do you recommend? I’ve had a Vitamix for many years but don’t like how often it clogs (stops) no matter how slowly I add ingredients. Any recommendations for non-clogging, largest capacity blender? Thank you.
Blending With Henry I use our Vitamix for smoothies and the recipe is below. I put the soy milk in first, then start adding the rest. The blender often stops (clogs) and I have to turn it off and use the tamper, which is a pain since it happens so frequently. Is there a trick to preventing that from happening? Smoothie recipe ... Soy milk frozen chopped kale frozen chopped spinach frozen banana slices frozen strawberries molasses pitted dates acai powder raw cacao powder ground flax ground chia I have the Vitamix 64 oz low profile container and wonder if the 64 oz tall container may be better at preventing clogging. Thanks for your feedback.
@@julietteyork3721 Your container may have defective blades. This isn't a common occurrence. As you see in my videos I tend to pack my Vitamix containers with ingredients and they've never stopped or clogged. The way you see it in my videos is practically in real-time because I don't edit my videos to hide issues. In particular the nut butter videos I create are the toughest on the Vitamix since nut butters are thick and gooey and I've never experienced clogging or stopping. If you're ramping up the blend speed to the highest on every blend and you're having these issues then I recommend contacting Vitamix at 800-848-2649.
Both blenders are amazing in terms of blend quality. It really boils down to if you need the sound enclosure. You are paying for that with the Blendtec. The Vitamix is more versatile with different containers for different recipes however. If you need further info on please reach out to me via the following link. www.blendingwithhenry.com/ask-henry
Hey You Guys! Check out my video review of the quietest home blender! Blendtec Professional 800! Order thru Blending With Henry and get fast free shipping! bit.ly/1CihL3O
Commercial machines are offered through exclusive commercial dealers who are trained for those models. I do not offer them. Check out their commercial page. www.blendtec.com/commercial/products/category/beverage-blenders
Hello I need help please. Can someone please tell me how to check how many cycles the pro 800 has done. I dont have the booklet and can't find any videos
Nice review. Thanks for the FYI's since space is really important to some at least they are forewarned about the size considerations. Me personally, I don't mind moving the blender out a little bit or placing it where it won't be interfered with. I'm still battling rather to to get a Blendtec or Vitamx, The noise dampening could be the tiebreaker.
hi henry I just purchased a blendtech 800 and noticed that it leaves a small gap at the bottom and does not fully close. The black rubber piece at the top of the enclosure stops it from fully closing did you notice any problems like I am having I am thinking about trimming the rubber piece down
I had the same problem initially. Snap the lid on the jar fully till you hear a click. Do this while on the countertop, not on the machine. Now the sound enclosure will close fully
Yes, with over 70% parts that are made in the USA as well. If you're interested in this model please reach out to me at the following link and I will provide you a special link for fast free shipping. www.blendingwithhenry.com/ask-henry
You're using the wrong form of logic. If a company is offering free shipping back and forth for service which costs them money then that's telling that their product is so reliable that they are financially able to offer as such because the chances of their product needing service is very little.
Gimmick. Bit pointless unless the user is NEVER going to have to move around the ingredients by hand. Sounds like the Vitamix machines still have the edge.
It might be priced more within reach of more people but at almost $800 for a blender that prices it still out of reach for MOST. Add the lid is a gimmick. It makes little sense to have the lid if it's going to be off or open most of the time. Useful only for making smoothies or soups when the twister isn't needed? Then there's the "Twister Jar"...Blendtec makes you pay extra $130 for that. Should be included with the 800. GREEDY company. For $100 less I'd go for the a3500. IF I were looking for a flagship blender.
But with regards to the Lid, folks like myself are desperate for this since we live in an Apartment building. We share walls with other people and try to be respectful, etc. I can tell that my neighbor has some sort of fancy silencer for his blender and I'd like to do the same. It's all good.
Nice review! Sadly the Blendtec Pro 800 has continually failed me for years. The motor burns up when you use the hot soup mode. Blendtec has always replaced it, but with another one that burns itself up. "Hot soup mode" = "Self destruct mode" th-cam.com/video/0N0EUvd6RtY/w-d-xo.html
It's a very full review. The home model does not offer in-counter installation. But you're very welcome to create your own video and finish off what you accuse me of not doing. 👎🏾
Sry. I was pissed off that I couldn't find the instructions anywhere on the web as for the pro 750 model. I sometimes forget there are sometimes people and not companies on the other side you youtube.

Pineapple is also delicious and healthy if you’re blending the middle core where a lot of Bromaline resides
its been an honor blending

Wow! Right On Jake! Thank U so much!! 🙏🏽
Blending With Henry I subscribed last night. Henry help me decide to get a Vitamix.
AGREED
Have it, love it, and use it nearly every day❤️
How is it working for you now? I see so many reviews where people talk about it smoking or emitting a burning smell after a few years.
I no longer have this machine.

Blendtec for smoothies.
Vitamix is for dough, Mayonnaise and nut butters. But Vitamix is great for smoothies too.
The Blendtec is the best for smoothies. And the twister jar is for nut butters.

Good to know. Thank you.
My blendtec 800 has a burning smell when I use it. I bought it brand new. I was wondering if that would go away after awhile
Very common. It's the motor winding curing. It will disappear after several heavy blends.
Thank you so much for the reply
Hi Henry, how would you choose between a Blendtec Pro 800 and a Vitamix A3500 please, when performance is the most important factor? Thanks.

Hi there Henry,
Is the engine of this blender good for 120V 50hz/60hz or is it just 120V 60hz?
That would be something you would have to reach out to Blendtec for. I do not know.
I think it doesn't matter. Maybe it will get hotter.
Henry which blendtec do you recommend for commercial use ?
Commercial machines are offered through exclusive commercial dealers who are trained for those models. I do not offer them. Check out their commercial page. www.blendtec.com/commercial/products/category/beverage-blenders
Can you still blend in this blender with the enclosure completely removed?
Yes, I mentioned that in the video.
Too bad Vitamix doesn't have one of these...lol! You are so good at what you do!!!
Thank you so much!!
MISSINGROGERHOWARTH yes they do they are like 800.00 to 900.00 though.
The black thing on top of the sound enclosure keeps falling off and I just got it yesterday 🤔
Hmm, never had that issue. Definitely get in touch with Blendtec.
Would love to see a review of the Waring Commercial MX1200XTX Xtreme Hi-Power
The Waring is not really a high demand product in terms of consumer interest. I also do not review commercial blenders.
Hello I need help please. Can someone please tell me how to check how many cycles the pro 800 has done. I dont have the booklet and can't find any videos
which is better the blendtec 800 pro or the vitamix a3500?
The reason to buy the Blendtec is for the sound enclosure.
so the Vitamix is better...
I never blend under the counter I always Pull it out🤷🏿♀️

Great review! Thanks!
Where can I get this upgraded lid for my wildside?
Blendtec has informed me that the new lid design does not fit properly with legacy jars.
I like your voice a lot.
Thank U Mischa for the very kind comment! 🙏🏽

That rubber piece is there to keep the jar stable so it won't tip when breaking down hard ingredients. I wouldn't trim it.
Blending With Henry did the blender you have leave a gap at the bottom ?
I had the same problem initially. Snap the lid on the jar fully till you hear a click. Do this while on the countertop, not on the machine. Now the sound enclosure will close fully

Umm... Shipping back and forth for service?? Are these not very reliable and will have to ship it in for service often? If so, that's no good!!
You're using the wrong form of logic. If a company is offering free shipping back and forth for service which costs them money then that's telling that their product is so reliable that they are financially able to offer as such because the chances of their product needing service is very little.

I'd love this but it's Pro 800 bucks
The sound enclosure is of commercial grade. That's one of the reasons for the higher cost.
I think that pineapple super smoothie looks a bit chunky.
It wasn't chunky. Thanks for watching.

110% A3500i is way more efficient especially for nut butter

Right on!!! 😍
Should have used ice in the demo.
