Love The cropped style and the deeper arm holes! And of course the pattern! ❤. I love wearing wool base layers… I sleep in a 100% extra fine merino wool sleep shirt, wear merino wool shelf bra tanks & wool underwear… no plastics against my skin! I have a couple of projects in line, but this beautiful bough sweater is on the list… it will be my first color work piece 😊
Oh, i can't wait for this pattern!! I'm going to a yarn festival tomorrow and will be seeking yarn for a child's version... for my one-year-old grandson.
Really liked your episode about your 5 favorite sweaters. I appreciate your knowledge and happily subscribed. I haven’t done a colorwork sweater and have knitting one as a goal for 2024. Blizzard looks like a great candidate to start with. Happy New Year!
I just discovered your channel. You are the best knitter I have ever seen. You explain things like nobody else. In the past (30 years ago) I used to knit cardigans with design, using 2 or 4 needles. But I never tried intercontinental knitting (besides a beanie). Do you think an intercontinental knitted pullover with drawing would be possibile for a beginner? Or would you advise to start with one colour? Kind regards from Belgium!
Love, LOVE, love Bough. And how cute is kids version. Question: is it too much work to make kids version also for adults? As additional option? Would solve low yoke issues (maybe)?!. Don't get me wrong, absolutely obsessed with adult design, but there is something so cute about just branches as well as an option. In any case WOW. Love this design. What would kids sizes be / up to ....?
The grading is quite a bit different for the kid’s version versus the adult version. If you want to make an adult version with just the branches, you can just skip the “border” sections of the chart. You will have a shallower yoke after eliminating those sections of colorwork. The kids sizes are up to size 12.
I have your instructions to sweater Abloom but I’m having difficulty with the color work . If Tony understand. Did you do a video? I’m much better watching you do it
🌿🌿 Bough is irresistible!!
