    Hello!
    I went snowboarding in Snowbird in Utah and this is how feel snowbiard is such a challenging mountain in Utah.
    I am telling you that Snowbird in Utah is "Brutal". If you are from other states such as California, you would need to re consider your slopes before hitting the runs. For me, every blue in snowbird is more like blue black or black diamond. and black diamond is more like double black diamonds.
    Here is why I think so. These are all three blue slopes in snowbird in Utah.
    🚩 Lift 🚩
    Little Clould
    🏔️ Slopes 🏔️
    (Black Diamond) : Road To Provo
    (Blue) Mark Malu Fork
    (Blue) Goblion Gully

    Before anyone could run, they first had to learn to crawl. Congratulations, everyone has been there at some point, I wish you luck with your continued progression.

    Arrgghh! 😲 Oh boy, do I sympathize! My twin and I skied at Snowbird about 25 years ago (!!)----and what a surprise we were in for!!! Considered advanced intermediate level, we just headed for the blues--and had softer snow--for the first 2 days of our vacation!! (THEN----it was just like YOUR snow!) Same conditions, same bumps, ice, endless icy catwalks. We were SO disappointed! Finally----we cut our losses and spent our last 3 days at Alta---a dream mountain with actual 'slopes' to ski and wonderful in-and-out tree skiing!! I could not believe the comparison. Snowbird felt like a resort out to EAT us and our skis! Alta---which offered so much variety and choice of steepness---and gorgeous no-mogul bowls really 'saved' our vacation. (And, also had better grooming!) Please don't be discouraged---we tried Snowbird 15 years later---and nothing had changed! LOLOLOL! It was NOT due to our skill level-----we were advanced skiers, comfortable on everything by that time---but Snowbird STILL 'pointed us' straight towards ALTA AGAIN! 🙂🙂🙂 You are a good boarder and showed great control.........and I have to agree with your assessment of the mountain. (Others RAVED about it and accused us of lacking the skill to ski off the tram--but we just couldn't agree-----and we LOVED all the other Utah mountains we skied.....though Park City was NOT one of our favorites, either!) We all have our favorite mountains--and I hope you can get over to Alta, if you're still in Utah! Enjoy your trip!! Keep us informed! Lynn in Manhattan

      Oh thanks for kind words and sharing your experiences! Yeah i went snowboarding in snowbird with my daughter who is just becoming the intermediate. And she has hard times. For me, it was not easy.. and every slopes are still challenging and fun.! Snowbird is just more like mountains and keep its terrains well. Hope you enjoy your winter ❄️

      People enjoy different thing. Alta has more open groomed terrain. For me Snowbird is a cut above alta.

    Normally this run is groomed including the traverse at the top, so that is why it is a blue run. With all the recent snow we have been having, Snowbird has not gotten around to grooming it yet. It is still a good run though.

    • @DUSSIVlog
      @DUSSIVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh thanks a lot for your reply. I went to the traverse at the top which is black diamond but it was bumpy and moguly like this. It made me really really really scared as it was snowing and i could not see well left and right was cliff for a while. Thanks a lot for your kind informations. I really appreciate it.

      @@DUSSIVlog I went last year on two big snow days and the traverses were really well groomed at the top fortunately but the visibility was bad. I did the run you did here a couple times but completely blind.

    Road to Provo can be nasty and downright scary at times. Fluffy Bunny is a double black , why is Road to Provo a blue? I know it’s just a cat track but it’s crazy sometimes. Even Mark Malu Fork should at least be a single black.

    My unsolicited advice is to put the friggin Go Pro down and focus on learning how to snowboard on various types of terrain and conditions. Everyone is too quick to hold cameras and film while ignoring correct body positions to get better at boarding.

    @2:21 “who the hell made this trail!?!?” 😂. The bird is a crazy mountain. Other than at the bottom, it’s pretty much just catwalks and blacks on the front side. I don’t know if mineral basin was open, but the blacks are actually pretty chill. If it was open, did you go through the tunnel?

    • @DUSSIVlog
      @DUSSIVlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the tunnel usually open late Dec or early January. This slope is amazing and blew my mind. I put slope and lift names in the description. As I explained this slope is shockingly great ideas to travel for flat long long catwalks!

    Your California card has been revoked! Like other commenters mentioned, best to pause the filming and work on concentrating, balance and working the moguls. I’ve been riding for over 15y and thought I was good bc I could handle Mammoth. Then I went to Jackson Hole and it humbled me quick.

    • @DUSSIVlog
      @DUSSIVlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are absolutely right i need to start my training from the start 🥲 snowbird is crazy but i heard jackson hole is INSANE.

    • @cvn6555
      @cvn6555 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Jackson is tough because the runs are so long and you have to do a bunch of them before you get back to Big Red. You just get off of Rendezvous then you have to keep hitting long, ungroomed runs for another 3200 feet of vert. It does have some fantastic runs but, yes, you have to know what you're doing and be in good shape.

      it is in snowbird. yeah.. i think it seems that if you traverse on this narrow path, you would get to "nice less populated areas" if it is a pow day, i think it would worth it, but in regular days, maybe not good choices for snowboarders. if you are a skier, you might like it

    It's really funny to me when people have all this expensive gear and gopros and they can barely even snowboard. Take the backpack off, put the camera down and actually learn how to snowboard because this video is just straight embarrassing.

    • @cvn6555
      @cvn6555 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Then again, maybe he is trying to document his progression. Maybe he only films a few runs per day on the mountain and focuses on improving the rest of the time. I get annoyed at these people clogging up advanced terrain when I am trying to just ski, too. But I remember that I was just like them not all that long ago.
