thanks for the video, going there this July 4th weekend. Trying to figure out best place to launch our paddle boards, can you please share which area did you park at? I see Lake Mary Marina and Pokonobe Lodge as launch areas but looks like you were off close to the lake edge, road somewhere?

For a begintermediate boarder JM may be better than MM is that right? (low-intermediate).. The slower lifts vs fast lifts and crowds..strikes a chord.

Road to Provo can be nasty and downright scary at times. Fluffy Bunny is a double black , why is Road to Provo a blue? I know it’s just a cat track but it’s crazy sometimes. Even Mark Malu Fork should at least be a single black.

Most people would probably be able to easily do this run perfectly on their 3rd day ever... which means it's a green. Either clickbait or Dunning Krueger sufferer. Rule of thumb - if you are mostly pointing downhill and hardly have any speed - it's a green.

The wall is a cool but short run, I got to ski it today with a foot and a half of fresh powder. I also recommend Carson. It’s a double black with an amazing sustained 37 degree pitch

I can relate! Rode at Snowbird 2 years ago for the first time. Between the challenging terrain & altitude ( got a pretty bad case of AMS-HAPE), I got my ass kicked. Returned in early Mar 2024. Ditto. I will return, though! I may not kick Snowbird’s ass, but I’ll at least make some peace with this awesome mountain. At 71 YO, I have a few more years to do so.

Did you need snow chains going up to mammoth at this time of the month ?

Funny part is most resort skiers bring out non pow skis and just push through the pow, skiing the layer beneath. Than snowboarders who are experienced float on top of POW. I don't want to hear it pole jerkers

I should've started at Disco. Went to Wonderland today and even the smallest jumps are HUGE in comparison. Was really hard for building confidence.

I wouldn't call these guys average at all they have skill you can tell. They were smashing down the mountain ⛰️. Send it brothers. I also live in Tahoe lets shred together

I’m at mammoth rn but I went to June today because it was less crowded and the line to the first chair up went all the way around the parking lot I was in that line for 1 or 2 hours 😂😭😭
