Cooking is definitely one of my favorite activities in the game!! Have you guys been joining lots of cake parties? I’ve joined several so far, and I’ve really been enjoying them!

It would be nice if you listed the minimum number of stations you need to cook all items.
I believe they just added new recipes but currently I have 2 stoves, 3 ovens, 8 mixing stations, and 4 prep stations. I've so far been able to make pretty much every recipe I have needed.
Here's a link to how my kitchen is setup for cake parties, it might be helpful to get an idea of how it looks!

Just thought I would add, with the 0.169 update, the cooking recipes have changed so this might not reflect what is needed anymore sadly :(

I don’t play the game with other people. I play it as a single player so this is getting to be too grinding. But thank you for the recipe guide.
Cooking is definitely viable as a solo player! Although ingredients are less efficiently used when playing solo

Now if only my Internet didn't keep putting up lag - I hate to complain, but when the connection isn't very good..... dangggg, every action, whether it's solo or in a cooking party, whether it's chopping spice sprouts or flipping, has me standing around and just twiddling my fingers once I complete it. I've ruined two things due to The Lag LMFAO >~~
@@pinkcloudsnightlightbell I get that one 100%!! When I lag cooking actions get verrryy choppy. (Get it, choppy bc it's cooking?? Lmao but seriously lag makes cooking really frustrating)

What's your cooking level? I think you unlock the other campfire recipes once you level up
Why can not use star ingredient for cooking?
Are you just unable to use the star ingredients? Maybe you put them in your locked storage? Unless theres a bug right now
Are you trying to use both Star and Regular ingredients? You can't have 1 leaf high quality and 3 normal quality, you have to have all of one or the other.

THIS is probably what's going to make me leave Palia. I joined an MMO, not a cooking simulator. Far as I'm concerned, if I have the recipe and ingredients, it should be a click and wait for completion situation... I mean, it's not like they make us assemble all the different parts of furniture.
Plenty of MMOs have cooking mechanics though, they just differ in how it's done. FFXIV for example you have to craft food with specific skills in order to successfully make it. It's just more interactive in Palia. But you are valid for not wanting to do a whole lot of actions just to make the food since cooking isn't your focus in the game overall
I feel like there should be a "fast cooking" option, even if it'll give less XP to the skill.
@@clsmithcs74 Yeah this would be a good alternative as long as theres some balance for it
Maybe submit this suggestion to the Dev's, I just don't know of many people that have 'complained' about this since Cake Parties are very much worth it.
