Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

I love all the performances of "SOS..." by Dimash and there are plenty of them. Best of all by perfection in my opinion: Slavianski Bazaar 2018, tho this one of his Digital Show 2021 is really powerfull. "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" was written almost 20 years before Dimash Qudaibergen was born, but he definitely made it his forever, when Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger composed this song, they had no idea, they did not imagine who was tobe its ultimate owner. I enjoy so much Dimash's other versions of this song which are always unique and he sings them in a masterful way. For those who have just started this long journey to the magical world that opens with the celestial sound that comes from Dimash's throat, it willbe a before and after in their lives, but it will be for the better. Trust me, I'm not exaggerating.

I have heard that song, I really know how many times, maybe 150 or 175! It could be more. Sometimes I love the way they react it and go watch it again. That song does something in my soul, he is a MUSIC GOD! I have said it many times. Yes his mother been a soprano I imagine like you that she sang for him, plus I imagine she work until a point in her pregnancy. Someone in his teacher or maybe was a family member; his grandmother (he calls her mother) use to play the notes in the piano and little 4years old DIMASH would actually repeat it the note to grandma. At that poin they discovered he was born to sing and since he when to school, was a music school. Someone in American gave him a prize for I can’t remember for it, he took the trophy and apologized to the people that gave to him saying that the prize belongs to his grandmother. Then with a broken english he tell us that his grandmother would take him to music school every day and she had problems in her legs. He calls her and gives her the trophy, it really was touching that he did that. There you could see how humble he is and how much he gives the credit of his incredible talent. But he works hard for it, with a master degree and working on his doctorate, he has put the hours the sweat and tears. To this day he practiced 3hours every day, plus he doesn’t speak much since it needs to protect the instrument. One of the reasons that he isn’t a big star is that, he doesn’t want to come up with a album every year or go on crazy 6 months a year giving concerts every where. That is one of the reasons he would not sing with any of the music houses. His father managed his career and mom , the sopranos, helps with is voice. He will do concerts but it doesn’t want to go crazy. If you watch any of the videos of his concerts he lives every thing on that show, he completely gives himself to the fans ( DEARS) out of love and the respect that pay a fortune for the tickets. He would sing for 3 hours, it is a marathon, the more he sings the better he gets. 😱 you have to listen to his Ave Maria asap.

Dear Bangkok, Thank you so much for your reaction and expertise on Dimash talent. We see many vocal coaches from Dimash sos 2017 forward. But you saw it all in the first one. Even there he was a voice maestro and was introduced as a producer. For virtual concert he hired 400 people to put the show on. I had come through 4 operations with one to go during Covid. He put the concert on and charged me with a low income $10.00 for the show and $2.00 for the tax and I got to see Dimash at home in my house. Barbara Streisand charged $2,000.00 a seat for her concert. Dimash is the kindest and clean person practicing 3 hours a day with or without a vocal coach. Swims and deep dives for his lungs. Has a red belt in taekwando. Is a high fashion model receiving the EMI Gala award for best dressed. Has appeared in Vogue and mens health. If you want info on Dimash on your own there’s at least two hours of reading on his bio in Wikipedia. They say dimashs career starting at 2 yrs old. I personally think he has a photographic Emory with the quickness of his education learning and the quickness of his art that is put out. So we have a child prodigy that has grown into an adult prodigy.

I só much enjoy somebody just discovering Dimash and having their first experiences listening to him. It reminds me of my first time more than 5 years ago. And I've come to love him more each day since then. Apart from being the greatest singer and performer in the world, he has the most humble respectful loving and caring personality I've ever met. Last April I was at his concert in Düsseldorf, at 3. row, right in front of the stage and it was the most incredible concert I've ever been to. You've tapped into an important aspect of Dimash when you speak of his going sooo deeply into the music--in fact, his own mother on more than one occasion has told of how when he sings she often has trouble recognizing her own son This is EXTREMELY evident in his original performance of "Ave Maria" from 2021 (in Vocalize style with no words, thereby avoiding any misinterpretations and rendering it UNIVERSAL) where he takes an extra long time to settle down and begin, let alone how a good 20 seconds after the last note has been sung and he walks over to Igor Krutoy (the composer and mentor from whom he requested this version)--it's obvious that he has still not "come out of it" yet A personal note: this is my favorite performance of ALL time (not even merely Dimash's) where he draws us out of our earthly 3rd Dimension and into the 4th, where our meditations and dreams lie Upon EXPERIENCING his rendition of this for the first time ("hearing " it does not do it justice), I made a vow right then and there to listen to it at least once a day for the rest of my life❤❤👏👏👏❤❤
You described Dimash very vell. He is gracious and humble. He has worked hard from a very young age to hone his talent, but he sees his voice as a gift that he shares with us Dears. He is ethereal.
First, I must say the 2 octave rise part in the beginning always reminded me of the Star Wars theme song which has a similar section. Secondly, ever since the death of Denis Ten, a childhood friend of Dimash who became a world class figure skater, often using a recording of Dimash’s SOS in his routine, Dimash has been more emotional with this song. Ten was murdered in 2018 during a carjacking attempt. There is video of Dimash performing SOS while floating above the audience in a globe that includes a tribute to Ten in the middle of the song while Ten’s mother is seated in a prominent seat that is a must watch.
Dimash rarely sings the same song exactly the same way. He made other choices here, to make it more intimate. You really haven’t seen anything yet. After seeing a dozen more masterpieces by him you will still just be getting started. You will see/feel something new & special in every one. There has never been a single artist like him.

Yes, Dimash's lower register is much better than in Singer 2017. In fact, he devoped his baritone range after the competition. His lows got lower... and his highs got higher... but the one thing that hasn't changed is the passion he puts into each and every performance. He always gives 110%.

Each performance of s o s is slightly different. Dimash has stood on a staircase back stage and has done that Queen of the Night as a warm up lol. Dimash’s mother is a soprano and his dad, a contemporary singer. There is a song where all three sing together. It is called Dearest Mother. Dimash has also sung with his youngest sister, All By Myself. His sister is pretty and talented, but she is shy and wants to be a doctor. Dimash has a younger brother about 18, who plays various instruments , but I’ve never heard him sing. Dimash has sung and danced on a song called Give Me Your Love, a pop song, in English. And he has various pop songs, where he is all over the stage and comes down into the audience. Try Screaming idol hits version. What an excellent perception of Dimash's performance! You are right, sometimes he is like meditating when singing. Hello, You said everything I think about Dimash, he is a divine breath in our lives. Your loving relationship with your country, brothers, and your love and pride for your country, makes us love our roots again. He is a musical instrument that God created. Imagine a being who plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 10 languages, has training in opera, a master's degree in pop, rock, jazz, lyrical singing, bel canto. It's a phenomenon and it's still humble, sincere, affectionate.

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

I love all the performances of "SOS..." by Dimash and there are plenty of them. Best of all by perfection in my opinion: Slavianski Bazaar 2018, tho this one of his Digital Show 2021 is really powerfull. "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" was written almost 20 years before Dimash Qudaibergen was born, but he definitely made it his forever, when Luc Plamondon and Michel Berger composed this song, they had no idea, they did not imagine who was tobe its ultimate owner. I enjoy so much Dimash's other versions of this song which are always unique and he sings them in a masterful way. For those who have just started this long journey to the magical world that opens with the celestial sound that comes from Dimash's throat, it willbe a before and after in their lives, but it will be for the better. Trust me, I'm not exaggerating.

I have heard that song, I really know how many times, maybe 150 or 175! It could be more. Sometimes I love the way they react it and go watch it again. That song does something in my soul, he is a MUSIC GOD! I have said it many times. Yes his mother been a soprano I imagine like you that she sang for him, plus I imagine she work until a point in her pregnancy. Someone in his teacher or maybe was a family member; his grandmother (he calls her mother) use to play the notes in the piano and little 4years old DIMASH would actually repeat it the note to grandma. At that poin they discovered he was born to sing and since he when to school, was a music school. Someone in American gave him a prize for I can’t remember for it, he took the trophy and apologized to the people that gave to him saying that the prize belongs to his grandmother. Then with a broken english he tell us that his grandmother would take him to music school every day and she had problems in her legs. He calls her and gives her the trophy, it really was touching that he did that. There you could see how humble he is and how much he gives the credit of his incredible talent. But he works hard for it, with a master degree and working on his doctorate, he has put the hours the sweat and tears. To this day he practiced 3hours every day, plus he doesn’t speak much since it needs to protect the instrument. One of the reasons that he isn’t a big star is that, he doesn’t want to come up with a album every year or go on crazy 6 months a year giving concerts every where. That is one of the reasons he would not sing with any of the music houses. His father managed his career and mom , the sopranos, helps with is voice. He will do concerts but it doesn’t want to go crazy. If you watch any of the videos of his concerts he lives every thing on that show, he completely gives himself to the fans ( DEARS) out of love and the respect that pay a fortune for the tickets. He would sing for 3 hours, it is a marathon, the more he sings the better he gets. 😱 you have to listen to his Ave Maria asap.

The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' (1978) and is known in the English-speaking world as Tycoon (1995). Music: Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon (French original text). The English adaptation is by Tim Rice.
That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day bodyguards were at his door and now he is a megastar but without airs... just our Dimash.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to TH-cam ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. Won).

Thank you so much for your reaction and expertise on Dimash talent. We see many vocal coaches from Dimash sos 2017 forward. But you saw it all in the first one. Even there he was a voice maestro and was introduced as a producer. For virtual concert he hired 400 people to put the show on. I had come through 4 operations with one to go during Covid. He put the concert on and charged me with a low income $10.00 for the show and $2.00 for the tax and I got to see Dimash at home in my house. Barbara Streisand charged $2,000.00 a seat for her concert. Dimash is the kindest and clean person practicing 3 hours a day with or without a vocal coach. Swims and deep dives for his lungs. Has a red belt in taekwando. Is a high fashion model receiving the EMI Gala award for best dressed. Has appeared in Vogue and mens health. If you want info on Dimash on your own there’s at least two hours of reading on his bio in Wikipedia. They say dimashs career starting at 2 yrs old. I personally think he has a photographic Emory with the quickness of his education learning and the quickness of his art that is put out. So we have a child prodigy that has grown into an adult prodigy.

I só much enjoy somebody just discovering Dimash and having their first experiences listening to him. It reminds me of my first time more than 5 years ago. You've tapped into an important aspect of Dimash when you speak of his going sooo deeply into the music--in fact, his own mother on more than one occasion has told of how when he sings she often has trouble recognizing her own son This is EXTREMELY evident in his original performance of "Ave Maria" from 2021 (in Vocalize style with no words, thereby avoiding any misinterpretations and rendering it UNIVERSAL) where he takes an extra long time to settle down and begin, let alone how a good 20 seconds after the last note has been sung and he walks over to Igor Krutoy (the composer and mentor from whom he requested this version)--it's obvious that he has still not "come out of it" yet A personal note: this is my favorite performance of ALL time (not even merely Dimash's) where he draws us out of our earthly 3rd Dimension and into the 4th, where our meditations and dreams lie Upon EXPERIENCING his rendition of this for the first time ("hearing " it does not do it justice), I made a vow right then and there to listen to it at least once a day for the rest of my life❤❤👏👏👏❤❤

You described Dimash very vell. He is gracious and humble. He has worked hard from a very young age to hone his talent, but he sees his voice as a gift that he shares with us Dears. He is ethereal.
First, I must say the 2 octave rise part in the beginning always reminded me of the Star Wars theme song which has a similar section. Secondly, ever since the death of Denis Ten, a childhood friend of Dimash who became a world class figure skater, often using a recording of Dimash’s SOS in his routine, Dimash has been more emotional with this song. Ten was murdered in 2018 during a carjacking attempt. There is video of Dimash performing SOS while floating above the audience in a globe that includes a tribute to Ten in the middle of the song while Ten’s mother is seated in a prominent seat that is a must watch.

Dimash rarely sings the same song exactly the same way. He made other choices here, to make it more intimate. You really haven’t seen anything yet. After seeing a dozen more masterpieces by him you will still just be getting started. You will see/feel something new & special in every one. There has never been a single artist like him.

Yes, Dimash's lower register is much better than in Singer 2017. In fact, he devoped his baritone range after the competition. His lows got lower... and his highs got higher... but the one thing that hasn't changed is the passion he puts into each and every performance. He always gives 110%.

Dimash Qudaibergen was born on May 24, 1994, in Aktobe, Kazakhstan into musical royalty. Height: 1.91m; 6' 3'.
Grandfather played professional dombra, grandmother was a teacher and sings. His parents are Kanat Aitbayev and Svetlana Aitbayeva. Sveta studied classical singing (not opera). According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash was raised by his grandparents (Mama and Papa) and for a long time he kept his parents as his brother ans sister in law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: “Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
He has been training in music since he was 5 years old, has a perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. Dimash also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with honors’. He has composed 12 of his own songs so far and is currently working on his doctorate. We have to call him soon Dr. Phil Dimash Qudaibergen. 😃
Dimash did not fit the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was criticized. Even his voice teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (Interview with his voice teacher - th-cam.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/w-d-xo.html ) ... but he was not deterred, won many national and international competitions.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of the National Opera in Astana because he wanted to go his own way ... He created his own genre: neoclassical combined with classical, folklore and other styles such as pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We laypeople say 'Popera'. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. He founded his own company named Dimash Ali.
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone in China. His first album sold out in 37 seconds and triple platinum in under an hour.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today Dimash is a 'cultural ambassador' for his country and a 'national treasure' (not an official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks Kazakh (mother tongue) and Russian without accent (second language in Kazakhstan), is learning English and Mandarin. He says dancing and Mandarin are difficult for him. So far, he sings in 13 languages, trains his voice for 3 hours every day... but Dimash said: "You don't need to know how hard I've worked, you just need to enjoy the results".
Experts consider Dimash to be a lyrical baritone with a typically long range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, contralto, soprano.

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are not just limited to the tremendous range of over seven octaves and mixing of all musical genres, but it is the incredible command of his instrument, his voice and the emotional touch of people ... that brings us back again and again fascinates and surprises and again ... Such an assortment is a very rare gift and can only be achieved, maintained and perfected through tireless and never-ending training. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed.
Dimash always wanted to be on stage. As a young boy (3ys), he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run on stage when they bowed at the end, and he would do the same.
In his childhood Dimash trained Taekwondo. Dimash's role models are Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and very important Michael Jackson.
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink ice drinks and he doesn't like socks. Hed love fire and water on stage, as a set of course. 🤣
A Dear gave him knee pads, but he says he's so deep into his songs that he doesn't feel any pain. 😃 Dimash looks good, is one of the 100 most beautiful men in the world and a model coveted around the world.
Dimash is humble, kind, generous, respectful, reserved and very, very hardworking. He donates a lot of time and money to charity, supports people in need and always does so quietly. We only find out because some people feel the need to talk about it.
Dimash is a megastar. He has the largest active fan base in the world, 10 million in clubs in 142 countries (documented).
Dimash calls us 'Dears' because we are as important and dear to him as his own family. The fan clubs are not like those of other artists. They don't just cheer on Dimash. Each performance of s o s is slightly different. Dimash has stood on a staircase back stage and has done that Queen of the Night as a warm up lol. Dimash’s mother is a soprano and his dad, a contemporary singer. There is a song where all three sing together. It is called Dearest Mother. Dimash has also sung with his youngest sister, All By Myself. His sister is pretty and talented, but she is shy and wants to be a doctor. Dimash has a younger brother about 18, who plays various instruments , but I’ve never heard him sing. Dimash has sung and danced on a song called Give Me Your Love, a pop song, in English. And he has various pop songs, where he is all over the stage and comes down into the audience. Try Screaming idol hits version. Dimash shows many different sides of himself, depending on each type of song. Sometimes sitting cross legged on the floor and sometimes at a piano etc.

Dimash’s younger brother Mansur only turned 16 this year! he composed the song “together” and it was premiered in September 2022 in the first of the Stranger concert tour. The music video version came out on April 9, 2023.

What an excellent perception of Dimash's performance! You are right, sometimes he is like meditating when singing. He is clearly somewhere else, and with his incredible voice, he brings us in this extraordinary dimension full of emotions.

Your loving relationship with your country, brothers, and your love and pride for your country, makes us love our roots again. He is a musical instrument that God created. Imagine a being who plays 7 instruments, sings in more than 10 languages, has training in opera, a master's degree in pop, rock, jazz, lyrical singing, bel canto. It's a phenomenon and it's still humble, sincere, affectionate.
