- Preventatively treating all the boxwood on this property for boxwood leafminer! Our team member Andy is using an insecticide called imidicloprid and injecting it directly into the root zone using a lance! Boxwood leafminer is a pest that can defoliate or discolor boxwood and cause blisters. Not only is it an eyesore, but if left untreated, they can even kill the boxwood and move on to the next one.
