I'd like to see exactly how you constructed this step by step and how you hold and cast it. I really like this and want to put one together myself. Great video!
I used a 1-1/2 inch by 12 inch extension tube slip ( in the video its only 8 inches) , a 1 inch schedule 40 plug and a 1-1/2half inch PVC Test cap. I had to do a little bit of sanding to get all the parts to fit together right and I used gorilla glue to assemble them.
good idea :) the only fundamental issue I have is with the use of ranger bands for long term storage of your line. the line will take on the scent of the rubber. dont know about the fish in your area but in Scotland fish would swim a mile in the opposite direction if they get an unfamiliar scent when feeding (pheromones excluded). might be worth a bit of a rethink on that one. maby consider a form of bait enhancer to up the potential catch rate. respectable effort though. d
Cool idea, I just don't like the washer as a stop for your line. I hope you at least filed the edges down and smoothed it over. Personally I would have gone with something different, that looks like you've created a place for the line to break.
might be a little bigger, but id rather have a full tackle box than a mini. never go bush without it. it actually saves you a lot of space when you are carrying your leatherman, 600 yards of line, steel braid, hooks, tackle, a hand line, some lures, jigs, and basic first aid all in a tackle box. no need for a bush knife, no need for para cord, snares, and lots of other bits that you would otherwise have to carry. best thing is...its not so small you forget it and dont notice
Audrey Boyd Thanks, but vanity drains are 1.25" in diameter, but it could be a kitchen sink drain they are 1.5" in diameter. just wish he would have said what it was so we wouldn't have to guess as to what it is. great idea and video though.
everyone thinks that they have the best pocket fishing kit. it's not that very different from other kits such as the pocket fisherman from dave canterbury.

Good job. Ignore vile trolls who salve their insecurities with
profane negative comments.
I like it. Thanks for sharing. Wish you could have been a little more specific on exactly what tube that is and how you made it.
Always interesting to see how people do things differently. Even if it may not work for me.
this is absolutely the best diy setup ive seen. good job!
Could you make a video on how to make it?
I'd like to see exactly how you constructed this step by step and how you hold and cast it. I really like this and want to put one together myself. Great video!
This is one of the best I've seen! Very nice work bud!

I like the cork, well played sir!
Good video..... But, it would be nice to know what you used to make it with.
i like the net idea
i like the net idea great stuff
Looks like a 1-1/2 inch sink tailpiece/extension.
good job.great idea.could be adapted to several other ideas i have.thank you.
Very creative!
sink pipe great idea sir !!!
ok, so what is it? you said you found something other than pvc but you don't say what it is. was that intentional?
Drill bit case
what did you use if not PVC? (which comes in many sizes) and no demo?
Couldn't tell if multi-tool had a blade? I'd for sure want a blade, even a small one in a fishing pack
+killer rgm Could use a few small razor blades, they work great if you strap them to a stick
i made one a while back and i had a cork in in just saying
so what makes this the best pocket fishing kit?

Well thought out.

good stuff my friend
So what's the tube made of?
that is nice man how did you get the cork on there like that?
Less than 260 subscribers with more than 136,000 views and 68 comments and not reply to any of them. Good job.
wow thats amazing!!! :D
good job
"and it works fairly well"
it would be nice to know what you used to make it
i believe it to be a sink drain for a vanity 1.5 in diameter I might be wrong

pretty clever
Okay. I don't get the reason for the video if your not going to give construction details on what parts to look for.
Probably a sink drain line, part of a p-trap
is that a plastic drain pipe to a sink?
Button compasses do not work. Get a real compass.
Cool
replace the multi tool with a fold able fillet knife
I found the perfect pipe for it, but I'm not gonna tell the viewers, what or where it is.
Seems a bit big for my pocket but that's just me.
parts list?
Given you can get PVC pipe much larger than that you failed at the " more in here that in pvc pipe"
ditch that netting and stuff a mosquito head net instead. better material and better shape.
Cheapest fleshlight I've ever seen.
Hmmm, seems to me, that the first impact on that one end = useless compass.
but what is it?
Make room. Eliminate the bobber.
What is this a fleshlight lol
everyone thinks that they have the best pocket fishing kit. it's not that very different from other kits such as the pocket fisherman from dave canterbury.
this aint no fishing kit this is more like a survival kit! redo the video
no
WAY too BIG. Hell at that size just take dynamite... faster. 👎
not good i started fishing and i am not using
