This was the first dance for my husband and I's wedding 6 years ago. Not only do I love the song, but I loved that, with the exception of a couple people, no one at our wedding had ever heard it before, nor had they heard of the band.
What an amazing Choice for a Wedding. If i ever marry someone i might chose the Same ;) there are many Metal Bands with amazing ballads, but Sonata has so many of them
awesome choise for the wedding, i can almost fell the athmosphere....whats..thiss....its. new to us but....rather good... :D
When I was listening to this song for the first time I was like: "Wtf?! Tony you aren´t a teenager to write and sing such a cheesy song. Sonata isn´t One Direction!"
Then I read Tony´s explanation to this song which changed my mind:
“I've been at times asked how all Sonata love songs are just cruel and sad and something is or goes always wrong. Well: Happiness is boring. That's why all the tv-series are full of drama. 25 seasons of fucking sunshine and ice cream does not sell. Anyway, this is my attempt to navigate the uncharted waters of Happy. Sometimes you see these really old couples, who walk hand in hand, like they've done since they were mere kids. “Love” is a song about that life long love we all would deserve. It's just beautiful. And rare.“
I guess you can't separate the art from its artist; knowing this kind of context changes what a song means to you.

I've seen a lot of people who hail Ecliptica as Sonata's best album. I've also seen people claim that Silence or Winterhearts Guild is the album they enjoy the most. Reckoning Night got almost flawless reviews from critics, while I've seen Unia been hailed as the greatest progression a band has made. I've also met people who say that The Days of Grays is Sonata's best album, and I actually know someone in real life who only likes Stones Grow Her Name and a few songs of other albums.
I, personally, like this album and if you don't; then that's okay. Just don't make your personal opinion something that you think all "Sonata fans" should think. Just like everyone listening to different genres and bands have different taste, people listening to the same album can appreciate different things with the same band.
Though at the end of the day, we're just a bunch of people who've found some finnish guys able to create amazing music...
I agree. Granted everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that doesn't mean one must throw out all tact and respect. Proverbs 17:28 has a better way of saying this.

Nelson Oyarzun Es un tema hermoso... pero siguen con ese estilo "progresivo" "alternativo" desde hace un par de años y es un poco chocante con temas como los de los primero 2 discos. Pero si debo decir que cuando se esmeran hacen temas como este que son muy lindos... y el solo del final me llena de lagrimas con las imagenes! abrazo!

I love Sonata's ballads, I always have. When I heard this song for the first time, I thought it was an OK song. Now I've listened the whole new album a few times, and I love this track more and more. It's very different compared to Sonata's previous ballads, but I think it is a good thing that they try different things. I love this song.
I admit this isn't my favorite from Pariah's Child, but I like that Tony decided to finally do a happy love song. And I think the video turned out great

My friend who is a die hard sonata arctica fan introduced me this band, I was simply ignorant at that time because I was more into modern metal core stuffs. But the more I listen, the more I can distinguish which one is quality song and which one is just regular. Sonata arctica open up my view to enjoy music from broader view. Absolute quality

I love the comments of people who think a band should not expand their musical style. there are storys to tell and sometimes thrashing on a guitar or drums wont tell that story the way the intended it to be. you dont have to like the song but you can respect it as a work of art they put time effort and imagination into. I personally think this is a beautiful song because its not like the rest. but i love the rest too. open mindedness helps. haha.

This is a nice song imo but again, imo Sonata Arctica shld make a ballad without losing their power metal edge like their earlier ballads. They were brilliantly beautiful with a touch of power. It's like a Sonata Arctica signature feel whenever i listen to it. Strive on Sonata! I will support you guys no matter what~ \m/
This is so true. I don't quite dislike that song (though I question making it the 3rd single), but their ballads lack that magical feel that they gave prior to Unia. Although I LOVE Unia and the stuff they did after (I find they are less boring in the long run than Reckoning and earlier stuff), these new ballads now feel like they didn't really want to make them, or not as much as last drop falls, the misery or shamandalie. I don't like Sonata making ballads, I like Sonata making emotion heavy powermetal touched ballads. But hey, may they keep doing what they prefer, I'll follow!
Yes because Tallulah and Shamandalie were power metal ballads so were Draw Me, Letter To Dana and The Misery... All of those songs were super power metal, fast paced and heavy on the double bass so was Good enough is Good enough... those smash power metal hits!

Look I don't wanna sound critical but...man, I loved these guys because of their ability to express emotions like this through intense, strong, active music. I don't care for love songs that sound bland or boring...and I don't mean to be a pain but this just seems that way...I'll take San Sebastian over this any day.
