great to see that the workshop went well for you Greg and I'm sure the attendees will have a fine collection of images to be editing after visiting the city. Some beautiful locations visited by the looks of it
I'm glad that the city break was a great success! The photo locations looked really cool! It's great to see that some familiar faces got to participate too!
The joy of teaching a subject you are skilled at is a winning combination! Your positive nature no doubt contributed to the success of the workshop. Great overview, Greg!
Awesome images, gives inspiration to give architectural photography ago. I've lost interest in landscape photography. Would you say its easier to take these kind of images in Europe compared to in the UK?
Hi Nigel, there are a few options. Anything nearby Mindspace Hamburg at Rödingsmarkt. A few of the photographers in May are staying at the Motel One Hamburg-Fleetinsel. It's going to be the same weekend as the 835th Hamburg Port Anniversary, which is going to be awesome! That hotel is right nearby where all the good photo action will be held.
I don't like as a born hamburger your "running gag", that the weather in Hamburg is 300 days a year moody or rainy. It's an urban myth. And many hamburgers believe it. So often it's repeating everybody. If you look at meteorology tables, your could realise ,that for example Munich is more rainy than Hamburg. Or look at maps for solar panels, with the sunny hours a year and month at different places in Germany. Have you ever heard the image of Munich as a typical rainy city? Anybody? That's the effect of the confirmation bias. You are such a smart charming guy, who praise different locations and some local food. Man, its winter now, and in winter the weather is not the best in Germany. Or west Europe. We are not in california. PS. Cool video.

Great workshop! Lots of interesting locations with a great bunch of people. Would highly recommend 👍
I love how you've embraced this new direction in your photography. Some really good stuff there. Keep it up Greg!
Thanks again to the 12 photographers who joined us this weekend. It was awesome! Where should we run the next City Break?
Quite fancy Paris 😊
I think Valencia could be cool. The arts and sciences building is incredible.
@@throughdebslensI’ve actually never been to Paris. Only place I’ve been in France is Chamonix, twice 😂
@@gregorsnell Or Bilbao
@@gregorsnell Only been for work…which doesn’t count 😂
Love the locations and the images, the workshop looked like a lot of fun👍👍
Beautiful shots. Looks like your scouting really paid off. Great that the German people value architecture highly to produce these places.
Another banger of a video!!
Potato's and meat SOLD!!! 😂Looks like a wonderful tour around the city, fantastic people and locations! Cheers
So many great photos 😍

lol. Have an awesome trip!! 👊
I know I always say this, but I hope I can join you on a workshop one day. 😅
Looks like a great weekend. I must admit I am very tempted for the next one but money is tight at the moment.
All good David. When I make it to the Lake District we can go on adventures 👍
@@gregorsnell I am good. On Saturday head to Iceland for a week.
You are welcome here in the Lake District any time.
Did I spot a cameo of Nellie and Matteo? Nice.
Absolutely. They came to say hello to everyone Saturday morning.
@@gregorsnell Matteo is getting big! We miss seeing Nellie, so tell her "hello" from us

Good question. In all honesty I’m not sure. I guess it varies. I do think London is pretty good for cityscapes and architecture. 👍
Hi Video is great Greg. I want to know this first song in the beginning.^^
