In this video we hike through a slot canyon along the River Road in Big Bend Ranch State Park in Texas.

Don't think I'd be hiking a closed canyon vs an open canyon. LOL. Cool slot canyon hike. Definitely want to watch the horizon for rain doing these trails. They are amazing to see and mind blowing how they have formed over the years. Nice adventure for you two. Have a great day.
Ha ha...yes, that would not be good. We always check the weather prior to hiking in these types of areas. NO rain in the forecast that day, so turned out to be a fun hike with no worries. Thanks for watching!

So interesting how the cacti and plant life survive here. Pretty harsh , even on colder days because it is so dry and the sun is so intense. Yes, as the sun moves the shadows and light shift. Pretty cool to see! Thanks for watching!
Just as well it was so dry walking in that slot canyon, I would not want to be down there is a flash flood but man the walls looked amazing and so high as well. Looked a real nice flat walk too, (well, until the drop off) maybe just as well with a bad knee, cheers Alan
