I had one of these! It eventually ended up with enlarged carb, enlarged crank window, extra boost ports, modified timing, knife edged rod, and a gold o.s. hyper head!
Just found your channel. Nice to see another older guy like me who’s been running these engines since we still had hair, hopes, and dreams. Those three things might be gone now but at least we still have our os engines. Still have two .12’s with the red cooling head and a .15 with the blue cooling head. Have them in Hpi nitro MT’s that I had gotten between 2000-2002. I shelf them now but once every summer I fire them up. Still run fantastic. Look forward to watching more of your videos. I watched a video of yours yesterday where you had a old rb engine with the orange cooling head that was sanded down to silver on top and I looked at my older rb tm523 that I still use today in my Traxxas Revo 3.3 race modified truck and the rb on the block is also backwards on one side, I never thought to look until I watched your video but I guess the old-school rb engines all have the initials backwards on one side
I have a 12cz on a 1995 Kyosho Rampage Pro and a 12cvr on a heavily modified(originally had a OS10 engine, too) 1995 Kyosho Sand Master chassis, I decided today to get them running again. Is there a difference between the cvr, and cvx?
Cool engine! I'm working on having 3 RS4s with 3 .12cvxs. one needs a pinch job, and I'll do bearings on all of them. Adam Drake just recently started doing pinches on small blocks. So that one will be going to him soon.

@@NitroTalkwithTodd all of mine came with pull starters, the Cz, cvr, and the 10, too. There aren't any other differences?
