I think it's so beautiful how true he is to himself and the world around him. He didn't hide anything in this interview and I think it takes a lot to just be raw, and completely real. How much he's accomplished and how much strength he has within himself to not only keep pushing on for himself, but the people around him. I could never connect to an artists words as much as I do with him. ❤ p.s his smile is so heartwarming.

When he got asked about the suicide note, I felt that being at your lowest point feeling like life not even worth it. When nothing goes your way even to the point where fake smiles become hard to do and even feel like you should be living is hard but the day you find your passion it’s amazing and if your reading this you are worthy of living and nothing should take that away

Unfortunately he’s not doing better. The clock just reset before he has another incident. As he says in the interview he has nobody to help him and he feels he needs the pain thus continuing the cycle. He up front admits he may try to harm himself later in this very interview and everyone is happy for him because 10 minutes prior he claimed he was happy. This is coping 101 people. Open your eyes and ears. God I wish phora didn’t go through this shit it’s sad.
@@outinspace6332 My eyes and ears are open, i see things differently and we all have different opinions and i can respect that . i say he’s doing better bc in my eyes he is, i’m not saying he’s over his past yet but the fact that he was going to rehab seems like a start. I’d like to think positive abt the situation. He has help but he said he prefers to handle his situations by himself instead of being a burden to others. We all learn and grow, and ofc he’d say he needs the pain, if we don’t go through pain every once in a while how will we able to understand or learn certain situations? Life isn’t always abt butterflies and rainbows. We all go through stuff, one min we can be happy in a good mood then the next we feel like crap bc something else interfered with our happiness and yeah it sucks booty that he has to go through that tbh if i could take it all away i would in a heart beat. I pray and hope that some day he’ll be able to finally move on and stop reminiscing on the past.

I still remember the night you came through to perform at Bakersfield CA. I believe it was 2012, there was only 9 people in the whole crowd, and 4 of em were my homies and I, I still have pictures. You told us we were the first crowd to mosh pit during Sunny California, haha. You have a unique story, and an even more incredible come up. I appreciate you homie, and am truly glad you’re still here.

I just would like to show love to this artist who is phenomenal at his craft. He is young, gifted and one of the chosen few. So raw and uncut which not every artist has that quality. He talks about the things that most people won't and for that he will have my support throughout his career. Different artist bring different things to the their fans. May God continue to carry you Phora and your journey in life because there is NO one else like you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper and I rebuke alcohol drugs and or Suicidal Thoughts in the name of Jesus. Amen!!!

J Cruz coming through like a big bro, asking those real questions and Phora always real asf. Imagine writing two suicide letters & being unsure if he has a future because his demons are just bigger than his house.
I wish Cruz had heard #WithLove2 ahead of the interview, which would of allowed him to get more into the music especially Sinner Pt. 4.
Phora really thought he’d never drop another Sinner because he didn’t wanna be in that space anymore. You know there’s a place he goes to for Sinner to exist - plus this would of been a great platform to reveal the features, otherwise Cruz brought experience to this sit down and thank you Marco for being raw & not cutting it because this real asf.
Also, S/O to 6th Element for the direction of the interview. Many people just don’t get that’s where you can pick up the real emotions of an interviewer or interviewee and he did a great job on that.

This mans music saved my life 5 years ago when I was at my lowest. Everytime I feel suicidal or like everything is just too much for me, I put him on. I started with "Numb" and have followed all of his music since. I love you so much. Thank you. Fake smiles part 2 and Sinner part 4 has been keeping me going recently. On repeat all the time.
I rolled two fats backwoods and smoked drank some henny and watch him I also wrote a song I struggle with depression and anxiety and phora just really helps me get through all my days

Love this Phora I been following you for a minute and you make me feel like I could make it too not just with music but with life and learning to accept life moves on it’s hard to lose a long relationship you put so much time into and like you said you sit there like damnn it’s really over... your music gives me so much inspiration I can listen to it over and over and over. I always put my friends onto your music and they instantly fall in love, cause we all feel the same we all feel that pain. I grew up in a 1 bedroom apartment too with my mom sleeping in the living room, that really hit home hearing it from you. It’s special where we come from. reminds me a lot of the NF in conversation review. its not very often we get artists like the that put out this type of music speak on their life, experiecnes and thought processes, and i love this type of stuff cause it makes you feel more connected who the artist is rather then just knowing the stage name.

Keep pushing bro ive been rocking with you since you dropped your graf raps back on the yours truly mixtape... some years later in early 2015 I tried commiting suicide and was admitted to rehab and I remember the one thing that got me through it was your music. Back then I had actually bought a pair of tickets to see your show in Vegas and I never got to go cause i was up in the rehab facility and i still hold the tickets to this day and wish I couldve gone. Much love to you Marco and your family
When i found your music back in 2012-2013 I was going through it and its almost like God showed me your music... God knew I could learn from you, I prayed to God for so long to help me change my life and help me learn and grow.. and with that I found your music.. your music is nothing like any others you inspire with your words and that has no limit... with someone who struggled with a broken family fucked up childhood addiction to drug lost homies to suicide and murdered like you just know youre not alone man we all got similar struggles and setbacks.. but most importantly we remember all the pain we went through to get to the point in our lives were at today, God works within you more than you know and you 100% have a purpose. Dont tell yourself getting sober will affect your music because no matter what man the real fans will always love you and we want you to be clean and healthy and happy. Anytime I hear news about you getting shot at or getting in fights with your homies off the drugs hurts Cause we dont want to lose you man. Be the guidance these lost young kids need so desperately.. Still a kid and Yours Truly saved my life. Much love and keep grinding. God bless you!

I’ve been listening to Phora since late 2012-13 and back then his music did so much for me.
I’ve been through a hell of a lot more since then & his spoken word in his music is so healing and comforting knowing that what he’s saying I’m going through & fuck - he gets me. He knows.
When your anxiety and thoughts control your life , you feel like nobody will ever understand. But his music - it gets me.

A lot of your thoughts or shit you went through i relate a lot to. I had to heal from a 7 year relationship where I put so much of me into that relationship I spent a year to be by myself and heal, that was the best decision I made. I hope you are doing the same, sometimes the thoughts that are there in the back of your mind is a part of you that has been neglected and you have to figure out which part is angry or hurt and spend time with it and heal healthfully.
