Sad that Suzanne had to learn coping mechanisms in prison, of all places.
Dixon's face broke my hart he looked so upset
He had no way to express his grief because of the rule about guards and inmates having any kind of relationship. Him singing with Suzanne (and eventually touching her shoulder) was the only way to let his feelings out
Such a great callback to Little Tiffany chugging that bottle of Mountain Dew per her mama’s plan to act all hyper! Plus, Tucky loved her soda! She scared me in season 1 but damn, what a character evolution, and what a sad ending. She wasn’t a “dumb doggett”, in the end she truly got to be an angel for real, and I hope she’s haunting Luschek (however the fuck you spell that, 😂😂) From one Tiffany to another, I toast with yellow drink!
Loved this scene so much, so glad we got to give Suzanne a great moment.
I thought of Season 1 and broke. Last time she tried to sing, she broke..but she learned to adapt and cope. Leading to this moment ❤️😭😭
The best character development hands down goes to Suzanne and Tiffany.
We can clearly see how differently Suzanne dealt with the death of Tiffany compared to the death of Vee.
And in the beginning of the the show- watching Tiffany was unbearably annoying but towards the end of it- she was the most unproblematic queen ever.
Taystee’s character development was one of my favs too. It was..heartbreaking but interesting.
This show was so well written. I miss it so much.
I never thought I could cry over someone singing a song about a soft drink, but damn this made it happen.

It made me mad at Daya😡🤬 Tiffany was happy about the GED program because they found she had dyslexia, the teacher was so so good to her and because daya threatened him he quit. The sub didn't put in the request for her to get extra time and she thought she failed, then it was Daya's drugs that killed her. 😟
I agree. I hated this Scarface phase of Daya. Im glad she got throat chopped by Aleida

Side note: Uza has sung an amazing voice

i just ugly cried! Suzanne was such a shining star throughout this shows run and her growth was amazing same for Pensatucky but unfortunately her story ended sadly. I loved them as buddies in the last 2 seasons and what a great way to say goodbbye to a pal.
She is such a wonderful singer.
I love you Suzanne and Taystee, and anyone else who cared enough to know that Pennsatucky was gone and wanted to do something for her in return, knowing she will be missed the same way as Poussey. Its not fair she had to die, nor was it fair that Pennsatucky died. Stupid injustice system.

Can we talk about Lorna doing Penn's Christmas pageant dance. I'm rewatching and just noticed that. It's making me want to laugh-cry 😂😢
After having stage fright at high school graduation and at the Christmas Show.... we finally got to this sweet, loving character share her beautiful voice.
Orange is the New Black is always full of surprises but somehow I knew in my heart that they would let us see her shine right before it ended. Truly amazing. 🧡

This show is genuinely unlike any other show, the way it displays emotion and heartbreak in the characters is just so real and heartbreaking.

I hadn't heard that song since I was a kid, but immediately started singing along with Dix.
Never knew a song about soda would make me cry. Doggett deserved so much better. Just one glimmer of hope that actually stays. But alas this is the real world and life's not fair.

CO Dixon was so much more then a correctional officer. He was a light for a prisoner suffering through abuse. He was a jolly guy with his teddy bear.

They literally had Dixon admit to being a sociopath in s4. Now they want him to se sympathetic? Fuck this show
I completely get your point and agree with you to an extent but someone can have sociopathic tendencies and still feel emotion. He has memories with pen and had every right to shed a tear about her death.
He's a sociopath, but he still can feel emotion, he's not incapable, he also knew she deserved a better chance in life, she could have gotten out of jail and he would have been happy if she never came back again. He didn't wish for her to leave like she did.
