McCain used a reference of 'cratering' in his excuse which drew national attention. People have forgotten that Bolt was poking fun at John McCain when he made that reference.

They give credit to every person and dont simply focus on their nation- tho they will of course interview whoever is representing them. I was really disgusted with how other news stations treated the track events- repeating the same things about US runners yet neglecting to point out the other countries and the stories behind those who won - etc... anyway enough venting
