I'd personally disagree with the issue of Venom being too close to Spidey costume. The original idea for venom wasn't a scary goop monster, it was a Spider-Man suit gone bad. It's why he has shoes, the logo, the white patches, it's because he's just a costume come to life. Basically the black suit just with a monster head
The feet where blue on the bottom in the comics is so that you could easily make out the shape of the foot with all the black going on. Otherwise his acrobatic poses would be much harder to notice.
the baby blue feet is definitely a printing thing, if they did all black soles it would be hard to distinguish it, remember back then they couldnt mask the ink and paint it blue (yes, there was blue ink for inkers, but they mosly just erased the line when it came to black lines and made it white.
I have the Mafex hush Batman figure and tbh the Q.C issues are actually very good, and that goes with the rest of the hush line, so Mafex is just hit or miss
I love the Marvel Legends Black suit Spider-Man but the lack of accessories really upsets me. They didn't even have to include web shooting hands. He spins webs out of the top of his fist in the black suit So they could have foregoed those hands and included an extra web or something else. It's so dumb.
got mine and i gott asay the wait for a reissue is worth it! its one of my grail. I wish u can take a look on Revoltech Iron spider next cuz that is releasing and Im curious about your opinion on revoltech figures which are super polarizing. Great content man!
If you like legends more and want him pinless just pick up assassin Spiderman and boil and pop and swap assassin's arms and legs with his and bang you got a pinless symbiote Spiderman just remove the little bit of paint that's left on assassin Spidermans forarms
That's cool to know but I've never understood peoples obsession with things being pinless. If it's not the right color to the plastic that is surrounding it just paint it the color of the plastic around it. It takes 2 seconds. Such a pointless thing to complain about.
@@brainbuster1234 yea I painted around the pins for a while too until they started making legends pinless, I honestly don't really mind pins there far easier to kitbash I just like the look of a figure being pinless is all I'm not complaining I just prefer it like many others prefer for the same reason
I have always wanted a black suit Spider-Man figure from the comics, But I will wait for a re release from Hasbro because that symbiote Spider-Man figure is a little bit more cooler and I think MAFEX looks dope on his very own.
im pretty sure the hasbro retro black suit is still in production or he's just really cheap. be careful, theyve used the retro body so many times that the joints get loose and gummy. the same is happening to the ryv body too with the recent scarlet spider lol
Bro its not a reissue its a restock! A reissue they'll go back and fix issues with the figure a restock they just remake the same figure with the same issue its kinda dumb. Mine has garbage paint on the lines on the chest too and I got the restock!

The trapezoid on the backs of his hands are comic and animated series accurate. The normal rectangle on the back of the hands is incorrect
The seller definitely repainted your alternate head. That's not factory paint.

Swapped heads on my reissue and it had a bunch of this white paste in it. Also the lower part of the right arm wasn’t put on all the way

Mafex and their Q.C issues are really out of control. At this point they’re just trolling collectors who buy them. Do better Mafex!

@@noahnunes-rk5ej That's what turns me off from buying their figures.

Modded the angry mafex head to put on my ML one, and I love how it looks
