How does my brain still remember all of the sounds in this show. Always wanted to be a contestant on this show, loved it.

Thanks for the upload Steve. Loved this show as a kid. In all seriousness, what has happened to quality children's game shows like this? Where are today's kids expected to learn about science and test their skills? I guess they spend all their time on TH-cam and Google now 🤔😒

Here's another episode in 1990 from the Australian kid TV show "Now You See It".
On this episode, the first game is played with Craig & Trevor, followed by the next game with Suzanne & Donna; it'll determine which two players will go head-to-head in the final round. 🇦🇺 🇦🇺

just stumbled across this and was amused by he comment that I sang for Pseudo Echo. Let me debunk that one. Melvin retired to the rainforest of Northern NSW (although his voice, Gary Clare, has been on 4KQ for decades). I'd done a lot of TV before NYSI on ABC (as compere, writer etc) and only got into TV by accident so I did other things like web design and working in the disability sector.I'm 71 now but still doing lots of things (photography video editing etc). NYSI was a fun gig and, as I only worked about 30 days a year over that 7 years, I had plenty of time to just hang with my family

I'm pretty sure this isn't from 1990, since the advert at 8:52 is for a contest involving Disney's "Beauty & The Beast", which was released in the United States on 11/22/91 and (per IMDB) not released in Australia until June 1992.
That said, I'm not 100% sure what the "celebrating Melbourne's 150th Anniversary" bumper just before the show is referring to, given that it was established in 1835.

I think 1992. The 1st ad was for the Aussie game show, "The Main Event", broadcast from 1991-2. At 22:55, it mentions Tina Turner's duet with Jimmy Barnes of the song "(Simply) The Best", which was recorded in May 1992 for that year's NSW Rugby League season. I think the 'Melbourne's 150th Anniversary' bit may be referring to its founding as a town. ('On 12 August 1842, Melbourne was incorporated as a "town" by Act 6 Victoria No. 7 of the Governor and Legislative Council of New South Wales' - Wikipedia).
