There's a better way...
"The Hand Launch" is more efficient, fun and looks cooler too :) ... it's easy to "Land in your hand" too.
Also...
The Mini 3 Pro is a "Small & "Affordable" & produces "High Quality Footage" but is it currently the “Best Drone?”

I did that, and wind gust blew the drone. Ended up in hospital. Now I use a landing pad. I suppose a thick leather glove might work🤔

Damn! Sorry to hear that, I find the blades on the Mini 3 Pro to be harmless…. I always position myself upwind to avoid this as well, which drone we’re you using?

Yeah the mini drone blades sting but never cut open

Also ended up needing medical attention because of a windy landing. Be safe and wear a glove!

Kinda lame the mini 3 pro doesn’t have the shake to fly option like the mini 3 does

If you holding your hand directly below the drone it will avoid your hand because of detectors below it.

No, but the blades are made from lightweight plastic and rubber, so it won’t cause any pain or hurt you 👍🏻

Nice but beware of landing on the hand in high winds or you may lose a finger

Ye, just gotta be mindful of wind direction… I think it’s best use case is the one you described… while in a small boat on the water 👍🏻
